I have wanted a simple webcam for a while. No mic, no frills, just a camera. But it was so hard to find a camera that didn’t have a microphone! I have a nice Jabra microphone that I use ands didn’t want the interference from built in microphone. This camera is perfect. It has a slider that covers the camera, the clarity is good, and you can position the camera exactly how you want it. 100% recommend.

I'm finding this camera intermittently gets stuck in a short loop ... not quite frozen but quickly running through a few frames over and over again. To clear the issue I have to stop the camera and restart it.I don't think this happened when I first got the camera a couple months ago, but it seems to be happening more and more frequently now. It happened so often in a Zoom meeting I was just in that I had to turn off the camera altogether and not use it.3/13/23 Update ... the camera issues are no longer intermittent, but happen almost immediately now when I start using it. It seems likely what began as an intermittent hardware issue has become permanent.Unfortunately, I'm past the return window.3/19/23 Important update ... I was using my internal camera and it showed exactly the same issue as I saw with this external camera, so the issue I was seeing is with my computer, not with the camera. So I raised my rating on this from 1 star to 4 stars.

Security experts recommend this type of option. I have two high quality monitors, and as is the current trend, peripherals are not included. I appreciate that. I want to have control of microphones and cameras. I can always unplug this camera (it's plug and play), and I can have the privacy screen switched over when not in use. It provides a great image, and is easy to use. Literally plug and play USB. Easily mounts on the top of my monitor. Easy to angle the camera however I want once it's mounted and stays put.

This webcam is a joke. It arrived with a piece of tape directly on the lense. When I pulled the tape off it left residue and also tore, leaving tape on the lens. What was the purpose of this tape? Who puts tape directly onto a camera lense?!The camera also has a joint to angle it the direction you want, except the joint is very loose and there is no way to lock it, making the joint completely useless. Anytime I angle the camera how I need it immediately moves to a different resting position.Like.. why?

I got this camera for work because the verification system takes a short video every 30 minutes to an hour and I didn’t want to be unsure if it was recording sound or not, so I got this one to be sure, since it has no mic. The video quality is really good on this web camera as well. Very happy with my purchase.

I have purchased many cameras. Brands from Logi to pretty much everything. This camera is literally the best one I’ve ever owned. There’s complete clarity, no fuzzy pictures. Resolution brilliance. Easy installation. Plug and play. Privacy. I enjoy that feature the most. I have paid a lot more for web cams that do not even come close to being as good as this one. Excellent quality. I definitely received more than what I paid for. Professional quality camera.

I specifically needed a webcam which does not include a built-in microphone because I already have a microphone which was included with my sound card. I do like the Privacy Cover which is a unique feature which can be a reliable means of preventing unwanted surveillance.This is an affordable webcam solution. It is certainly not the nicest one you could buy, but it should get the job done.This is rarely connected to my computer. I purchased it primarily for Zoom meetings and for skyping with girls. This camera is not compatible with Facial recognition (Windows Hello) which is a feature that I was hoping I would have the ability to use.
