1st cup and holy moly! Felt the effects right away. Woke up faster with a little brain tingle. Eyes wider. Tastes like coffee! Can have regular coffee after without diluting effects. Going to see if it helps with mood due to menopause as that is one reason I got this mix. Love that it comes in k cups format. So much easier. I can't believe this is natural and mushrooms!

This coffee is my new favorite for several reasons. 1. Unlike other half caf blends that taste watered down, Four Sigmatic Balance organic half caf has the flavor and aroma of full strength coffee. 2. It tastes rich & robust with no bitter or acidic aftertaste. 3. I drink half-caff to avoid caffeine jitters. This coffee not only eliminates the effects of over-caffeination, it amazingly provides a relaxing, yet focused sensation that lingers through the morning. Maybe it's just a psychological response to a good tasting cup of coffee, or maybe it's the additives. Either way, for me, it's worth the few extra dollars it costs over my previous brand. I'm 82 years old and, except for that magical stuff brewed up by the Army cooks in the field, this is the best coffee I've tasted. Here's hoping Four Sigmatic Balance Organic Half Caf will be around for the rest of my time on this planet.

I’ma clinical nutritionist and I recommend this coffee for those that are sensitive to caffeine like me. The ashwaganda and other adaptogens give a calm energy without the jitters. Highly recommend!
