What a great investment this was!I have an upright docking station, that needed a magnetic charge, this was perfect!Strong magnetic pull too. Exactly what I needed.

I read reviews about heat and the rubber piece not sticking to phone case or coming off. When I ordered this I also ordered a new MagSafe phone case. The case itself has metal in it that the rubber pad magnets instantly cling to along with the adhesive it has I don’t think it will be coming off. In my opinion it is a much stronger magnification with the provided rubber pad than just using a mag safe case alone.

Cool item carger works had to modify a new case to make work but thats a me problemOnly down fall when fone is plugged into a charger it holds it at 100% this one i think charges in burstscharge then pausecharge then pausecharge then pauseDriving down road at night screen turns on every 2 minutes saying 100% charged wich is distractingBut turn on maps lower screen brightness its perfect

I bought one of these and one cheaper alphabet soup brand, both work. I haven't paid attention to the charge speed enough to tell you the difference between the two, but the phone plate alone that comes with Mob Armor was so much better I wound up buying a second one to replace the inferior magnet ring that was included with the cheaper brand. The cheaper mount plus Mob plate equaled the price of the whole Mob kit, so just jump in from the start.

Build quality is great and it works great for as an add on for the mob armor stand as it makes tilting easier. Sadly the main reason I bought it for the magsafe and it failed. The magnet strength was bad and didnt hold my magsafe Iphone completely as it wiggles and easily comes off as it had no force to hold it. My 3rd party 10 dollar magsafe had more strength. My dad's phone has the magsafe flex plate and it was able to stay on nice and fit. It looks like it was made to be only used with the flex plate only and not 3rd party magsafe cases. If you plan to buy this the be sure to use the plate because your case may vary on how strong it would stick on the magnetic charger. Honestly not worth the money.

It works for a second and then all of a sudden it just stopped. So definitely wasn't worth the money that I paid for it

I've had - and enjoyed - my Mob Armor magnetic phone mount in my old Super Duty for years with just the steel plate stuck to my phone case. I would have to plug the USB cord into the phone every time if I wanted to charge it. Now, I just toss it on and get a charge each time I drive without the hassle.
