Ok so, first? You need Vaseline or aquaphor, just a little so you're upper and lower lids don't get stained. If you forget but remember fast enough, this can still be applied after with a qrip and gently work on the stains after with same. I want to address the "it burns" that had worried me. Um. It's not saline so yeah, if you get it in your eyes it will burn. #1 try for about equal amounts of the two products and mix well, it darkens as it sits, no, it's not blonde. #2 if a little does get in your eyes? Grab a qtip, dry, and carefully run along your waterline. It's happened to me, it isn't horrible by any means. #3 even if you go to a salon it's going to get in your eyes. At least in my experience at 5 star salons, with techs I loved, I still had a mild stinging sensation towards the end of the 30 minutes. When they clean it off, it stops. These results last the same as all but one of the techs I've seen. But she moved several hours away. Hers lasted well over a month, this clearly lasts 3ish weeks. And I do a full shower daily. Combine with a good lash growth serum and I'm pretty happy with mine. I don't do the lift bc #4 I've found that as the directions say? When you're using a wet brush to comb out the excess color? You're also arranging your lashes, so like with mascara, kinda lift them that way. #5 I've been using this regularly since August (it's October) and there seems to be plenty left. So GREAT value. Way cheaper than a salon. Definitely will buy again once I'm low.

I did my eyelashes with the dye. I suggest having a few cotton swabs on hand to make sure the dye doesn't darken your skin under your eyes. This it does not include the sheets to protect your skin under the eye. I applied in front of a magnifying mirror like mascara and had a timer to keep track of the time. I used cotton pads to remove the die and then soap and water. Very little issues (just a tiny bit of stinging if the solution on my lower lash got near my eye), and I think less time than what is on the box is better so no lashes fall out. I did it a few weeks ago and still looks good. I think this is much better than going to a lash place! I highly recommend this product

This is my second purchase of the black eyelash dye kit, and I am definitely going to continue using this brand. I appreciate that it is gel-like and not liquid, as it makes application much easier. It effectively turns my blonde eyelashes black. While it can sting if it gets into your eyes, a quick rinse with water alleviates the discomfort quickly, unlike my experience with a different brand. I am rating this 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: it lasts about 4 weeks instead of the advertised 6 weeks, and there is only enough product for two applications, not several. However, despite these drawbacks, I still prefer this brand over others that I have tried.

Very good dye for eyebrows and eyelashes. I dye them myself at home. It lasts a long time and colors well. When this set runs out, I will order another one just like it. It suits me.

I purchased this to use on my almost transparent eyelashes, purchased black so I would not have to use mascara for a couple of weeks while on vacation- Product BLACK came out a dark blonde thick substance, separated chemicals from the dye color tube- recapped and squished it to mix product, came out light brown and still hardly pliable.. I added the activator 1.1 as instructions direct, squished it together best I could with a q-tip, applied petroleum jelly around my eyes to keep product from my skin and proceeded to try my best to apply the thick product onto my eyelashes with the mascara brush wands provided- It was awful! It did not really stick to my lashes, so I tried to glob it on and figured I could close my eyes for the 30 minutes as instructions state to do- it started to ooze into my eyes and it burned so bad! Stung the @^%#^%# out of my eyes.. I decided I would power through it for the hope of black or at least darker eyelash color delivery.. NOPE! I could not even keep it on for more than 5 minutes and got a washcloth with warm water and wiped it away.. So tried it again in an hour when my eyes stopped hurting, this tie being more careful and gently dabbing the color paste just onto the tips of my eyelashes not too near my eye--- but it was on there! I could see it clinging from my lashes.. sat the timer for 30 minutes and sat down to close my eyes.. 30 minutes, gently washed it off.. NOTHING! My eyelashes are still transparent but I do have some amazing red puffy eyes and red dots from chemical reaction around my eyes.. I do not recommend this product.. I will try to find something else.

I bought this product to dye my eyebrows and eyelashes. While there were some materials from the kit missing, I was still able to dye my lashes and brows. It did sting my eyes when the dye touched my eye, but it was temporary and went away quickly. Also, since this was my first time dying any hair I did get it on my skin. The dye was really easy to get off!! Highly recommend if you make mistakes like I do!

Product is great and does exactly what it says. My lashes look great. Don't get it in your eyes. It does sting, of course. Avoid getting it on your skin with some vaseline. If you do get it on your skin, or anything else, you can remove it with some straight acetone finger nail polish remover. I used it to stain on some eyeliner. My eyes look great everyday now. I will by this product again and I will use this, (Mexin US), seller.

I love mascara but I hate trying to get the waterproof stuff off and having it smeared on my face and pillow cases in the morning. This dye is perfect and gives you that light mascara look that lasts for weeks without having to do anything. I also have to put ointment in my eyes every night and it doesn’t pull the dye out. I definitely recommend it for anyone who is low maintenance but wants to highlight their long lashes still! Best of all, it doesn’t sting your eyes when using it and the brushes it comes with are very high quality and allows you to put the dye on easily. Will definitely buy this again!!
