Spacing Saving Design
I love that this folds to save space! Such a great idea. It is double-sided with inches on one side and centimeters on the other, opening up to a full meter and a full yard. I bought this for math classes for homeschooling and it works great for this purpose of visualizing distances and comparing units.

Pass on this one
I have this exact type of measuring stick but it has a metal hinge. When extended it stays extended. This one however does not stay in place at all. It constantly collapses on itself making it useless. Look for the one with the metal hinge. It works unlike this one
