I want to return but no option to have a new piece sent??Do I now have to wait for my refund before buying again?

Great fan, high quality and silent. Mounted in our terrace with an aftermarket remote control device (11.5cm on 5.5cm), which did fit inside the fan perfectly. There is also a switch on the fan to reverse rotation of the blades.

We have two of these Hunter Protos in bedrooms and they are simply excellent, one just fitted the other we have had for 6 months or so. We live in a new, well insulated house and the bedrooms get very warm even in springtime. On setting 1 the fan is almost silent and even on the high speed setting 3 it is still quiet and have no problem sleeping with it on. Fitting is straightforward and the instructions are good. The fans look great and make a high quality addition to our rooms. Reversible in winter as well. The only very minor gripe I have is the wall switch looks less quality than the fan but it works exactly as it should. The silver/graphite one is also around £30 less than the white one, great value.

Utilisé pour remplacer l'ancien qui avait quand même 35 ans et tout cela en silence, celui-ci fait le job et convient parfaitement,C'est pas facile de trouver un ventilateur silencieux.

Pleased with the quality and look.Can be complicated to put everything together and it’s a very heavy solid motor that really needs 2 people to mount onto a sturdy ceiling joist.Controls also need fitting and these need recessing into a wall like a light switch, so ideal for a new build or a refurb as it’s distributive.Once all done, quiet and unobtrusive.Can also be used in winter to move the warm air above back down around the room
