Great product
Pretty easy to install overall. Due to the wind we have been having, the gate slammed shut a couple times. The "l" shaped rod wasn't fitting the way it should, so we realized that we had to adjust the door panel.Works so much better now.

Easy instructions to follow
Took all but 45 mins to install. Easy instructions to follow. Works great! No more reaching over the fence to reach the latch. Highly recommend the extension so you can open the gate on either side with the push button.

Decent but has some issues.
It's a fairly sturdy unit. Instructions were a bit confusing. I feel like the actuator rod from the outside could have been set up so it was not in the doorway side. You can catch your clothes on it. Cut the threaded actuator rod as short as possible AFTER installed. As another mentioned the lock stopped working on the one side... but it's adjustable. The actuator rod needs to be adjusted so the rod that contacts the latch is as close as possible to the back. You'll see. Hopefully it keeps working smoothly! I like it very much, but it was a little expensive for having fixable quirks.
