Nice free weight, as advertised
I bought this weight to repair a floor lamp. The original base weight was a plastic-covered concrete which disintegrated over the years and fell apart. So, after hearing from a couple lamp repair shops that it couldn't be fixed, I tried this. I bought some JB Weld Epoxy and glued this weight inside the base. Now my lamp is fine. Repair is less than half the cost of buying a new lamp, if I could actually find one I liked as much. So, there it is.

Deformed and did not fit
The plate I received has a deformity that prevents it from fitting on an olympic barbell. It's pretty appalling, see pic.

Poor quality control
Inside diameter barely fits 2" bar. Got on about half way using a rubber mallet. Note: I bought two of these and this review only applies to one.

Didn't fit on my 2in bar
The 5lb one fit perfectly on my 2in bar, but the 10lb one just barely doesn't fit. Nothing negative to say about the 5lb, just the 10. It's also peeling and I just got it! Oh well, I'll find something to do with it.
