Awesome
Overall view of this kit is it’s solid and built well. Shovel is sharp and locks into place securely. The blade side will chop off a tree limb 1” around with a single chop. The saw side cut through a 3” tree limb in 5 down strokes. Pruners aren’t much but I have a pair of pruners that I’ve had for 25 years and they’re in the tub with it. Axe is solid and chopped a 3” limb with a few hits and is very sharp. Hammer side is balanced and fits your hand well. I wouldn’t want to frame a house with it but it’s for getting you out of a pinch. Vacuumed bagged 6 AAA batteries and threw it in the kit for the flashlight. Don’t know why the reviews said such negative things about the knife. It’s solid, sharp, and fits well in your hand. The handles are the key. They screw together tightly and are solid and thick with no wobble. They thread into the shovel and let you stand up to use. Forget those other cheap folding tools and shovels. The handles are made out of tent poles and will bend and leave you out in the cold.

Bang for the Buck
I'm usually hesitant on items like this as I have been burned before. Had it show up and was better suited for a pre-teen. In the particular case, the quality is actually pretty good. You definitely get a bang for the buck and would recommend it.

Its all high quality
All of them items seem to be made to last. It all feels like high quality materials were used. Even the pocket knife is great quality!

Glad I got it
Haven’t had the emergency need for this but glad I have it for when the need arises. All equipment looks substantial, not like it will fall apart with one use.

Questionable value for the product
Purchased and received the weekend of 3/2/24. Took the kit out with me to test in a nearby forest behind my house. The knife, multitool, connecting poles, and scissors seem durable and good enough for general usage or emergency situations. This is the reason for the 3 rating instead of 2, because I do feel those items are of decent enough quality vs. expectations vs. price. The challenge is the shovel and the axe. The axe head required a bit of sharpening before I could get it to chop smoothly into and through a wrist-size thickness bush. The axe is a bit flimsy to be used as a primary camping axe. The shovel sides aren't sharp enough either to realistically be used as a saw or chopping tool. The real problem with the shovel is the way the tightening works - when using it the tightening will consistently become loose requiring you to stop and re-tighten it - or alternatively you have to tighten it with a second device in a way that also requires that second device to be used to un-tighten it each time you want to adjust the poles if applicable. I also gave a 3 because while the tightening comes un-done, the shovel used as an actual shovel is good enough. All in all, the real problem for me here is the price vs. the quality of the axe and shovel which was the main selling point of the kit for me. As a 1x "maybe I'll use this stuff in an emergency" kind of situation... sure but if you're purchasing this as a "this is the axe I'm going to use while camping", then it's a hard pass for me at this price and you're better off buying a decent axe individually. After this purchase I plan to go ahead and buy another axe unfortunately.
