No better reference to learn about your D-Lux camera. Leica should hire him to write their manuals. Way better than what you'll get with the camera. And when your spending that much for your Leica, you owe it to yourself to get one of these manuals to help you get the most out of it. Bang for the buck!

A must have
When you buy a decent camera today, it has a lot onboard. To take the full (or 80%) advantage of this, you need skillfull help. The manual is simply not enough.This book is worth every penny. Now - practice and practice again.Tor ØdegårdenLillehammer

A must have manual.
This book is a necessity if you wish to understand the full capabilities of the Leica D-Lux 6. The camera is so crammed with features that without this book and its detailed how to use instructions, I don't believe it would be possible for the average photographer to use the camera to anywhere near its full potential.

The author writes clearly and gives you a perfect understanding of how this wonderful camera works. This book is both a "how to" for first time users and a reference manual for those people who think they know all this things this camera does. After spending $700 on the camera, this book is less then the price of a fed ex package and it unlocks all the features you paid for. Buy it!

very useful guide to the Leica D lux 6
This is a very useful guide to the Leica D Lux 6 that explains the capabilities of this amazing camera. It goes beyond exposing the camera functions by giving examples of how these functions work and the advantages and disadvantages. It has numerous really excellent photos to illustrate the text, that are very helpful. Also it explains the basic concepts of digital photography while explaining how the camera works with these concepts.

Great Book - Great Author - A Must for Every D-Lux 6 User
Upon its arrival I quicly learned how valuable this manual is and would recommnend it not only those who own the Leica Delux-6 but to anybody using a similar camera, and the availablity of the accuratly described item, nearly immediate delivery, and overall service exceeded my expectations! ....Putting aside the product manual, this book really tells in plain language how to use this great and relatively affordable camera to it's potential!

Clear Explanations
I purchased a D-Lux 6 right before going on vacation and needed a quick lesson on using it. I found this Photographers Guide and I'm so glad I did! The Guide is very thorough, yet very easy to understand. I got up to speed in a hurry and had a wonderful vacation with my new camera. I highly recommend this Guide.

Very easy to understand user guide.
This small book is a very simple and easy to understand user guide for the Leica D-Lux 6 camera. I have not finished the entire book and probably won't. I did go through the first four chapters and I know that by doing so I am getting much more bang for my camera buck.

Gives the whole picture.....
A practical no nonsense guide to the Leica D Lux 6, more concerned with the functionality than the technical side. Clearly explained sections on all the main topics of operating the camera and the menus and controls. Gives you tips that the Instruction Manual does not, ideal for the beginner or experienced photographer alike.

Described Very Well!
This is an introduction to the Leica D-LUX 6. The information on batteries saved me as much as the book cost. It is very basic, but the author does a good job of putting together a manual at the same time as presenting simple methods to apply with the camera.

The manual that should have come with the camera...
This is an excellent book (I bought the Kindle version & it is great on my Google Nexus.) Whilst some might consider it to be at times a bit laboured or a bit basic - it is nonetheless a highly readable & detailed camera manual & Mr White sould be congatulated in putting it together. I have learnt so much more what the Leica can do that I wish I had bought this manual much earlier.

An essential partner to the D Lux 6
An excellent book for an excellent camera. The D Lux 6 is a phenomenal camera but surprisingly versatile hence quite complicated with a multitude of settings. This book is eminently readable and essential for those who want to know about the published, as well as the unpublished features of the D Lux 6.
