These are the real deal: HOMINY GRITS. I’m a bit of a purist when it comes to traditional cooking, so plain grits made of regular corn don’t have the same texture or flavor.

Very smooth, makes good con pon, priced nicely, cook time just right, love the package size and perfect Organic content.

They have a texture and grind a lot like old fashioned southern stone ground grits we used to eat when I was a kid. Thank goodness they aren't as expensive as stone ground grits are now a days. They don't clump as easily as some grits either. They don't cook as fast as instant grits but who the heck want's instant when for a few minutes more you can eat these.

Hard to find this product due to the name relabeling. Glad they are finally back on the market shelves.
