Trick to Putting on Lids But Good Product
Love this storage container. Large, air tight seal, quick arrival love the labels and white pen to identify contents. I keep my large 10 lb sugar which I use to make nectar for the hummingbirds on the kitchen counter but the bag gets wet. This is attractive, holds the sugar and keeps bag from getting wet. HOWEVER, the lids are very difficult to get on. There is a trick: press hard on a single corner as you press down on an adjacent side. Of course the lid must first be lined up correctly on the top groove, but it is the pressing on a corner while you push down on a side that gets the lid to click into place and the holders to go down. It gets better with time as things loosen up and you learn how to use this. The makers should include a little "how to" for customers.

I think they are GREAT
I bought 2 of these almost two years ago. They've been happily sitting on my counter for all that time with sugar and rice. Decided I needed another set for flour and more/different rice so ordered a couple more. Not sure what happened over the last 2 years but the lids are WAY harder to close than my first set. I think anyway. Maybe they just get better over time? Takes a bit of manual force to get them closed but definitely worth it in the long run. I'm extremely happy with them, even with the difficult lids, and won't hesitate to buy another set if the need arises. And yes, as other reviews have stated, packaging could be a little better as they are difficult to separate but it only took a couple minutes with another helpful set of hands.

Size, moisture, and container great for use
I LOVE the size of these containers! The quality is top notch. They work great and is a great value for the price. The only thing I do not like is where I have to struggle with latching on the top. Seems like a struggle unless I leave one or two sides of the top in the down position.

Worked great
Love these containers. The first time I used them the lids were a little hard to shut (and I have arthritis in my hands) but after reading some other reviews I figured it out pretty quickly and it wasn't too difficult. After the first time it was easy peasy!

Lids just wont go on. Completely unusable. ARTHRITIS OR MOBILITY ISSUES DO **NOT** BUY
I'm so upset about this, honestly. These were a great price, looked great, were a great size (considerably bigger than others available at twice the cost, though the reason for that will soon be clear). Unfortunately I can't so much as snap ONE side of the lids on, let alone all four of the snaps on each of the two. Four is unnecessary anyway, a solid airtight snap on just one side with a hinged lid would be plenty, but they just. Do. Not. Budge. Not one, and certainly not eight between the two containers. I tried as hard as I could to force them on, tried both lids on both containers in case one of either piece was too funky shaped to line up, rotated the lids in case they were directionally-specific, tried to figure out what actual part wasn't connecting, but for the life of me I couldn't find the issue. They seem to line up correctly, nothing is missing or broken, and they feel overall high quality-- when I pulled them out of the box I even exclaimed about how excited I was to have found affordable ones so solid and nice, only to be disappointed not fifteen seconds later. I have arthritis and other mobility issues with my hands and-- while this part is probably my fault for not giving up sooner-- I severely hurt my hands trying to get these to work. Even my housemate, who does not have the same hand issues and in fact has some pretty decent hand strength, was only able to get one snap on one of the lids to even sort of connect, with great effort, and which popped right off literally immediately without the support of all four clamped down together. The housemate quickly agreed that these were garbage. Good looking, sturdy, massively disappointing garbage. Legit so bummed-- really wanted to get my flour out of those nasty unprotected paper bags, but now I'll have to start over, looking at containers in the "$35 and over" price range to try and find ones that, yknow, do literally the one function they do-- freaking close the lid! Which I can totally afford, which is why I went for the too-good-to-be-true $15 ones..... Oh well.

Lives up to expectations
Well made. Sturdy. Very tight lids. Hard to close the first time but keep trying. The trick is to push down, hard, on the very edge of the lid while closing each flap. Large capacity. I ordered a 2nd set. Fast delivery. Recommend.

Needs hinges on the lid
This item was super-stiff upon arrival, and two of them crammed together so tightly I wasn't sure I was going to get them to come loose. I finally got them apart, and found the lid latches very hard to work with. Once I got them limbered up a little they are working fine, but it was a fight. The lids should be captive with a hinge rather than a separate part.
