Question 1

Not that I plan on doing this, but is this ONLY one direction?  Is it possible to send a signal the opposite direction post-install?  Thanks.

Accepted Answer

One end will transmit and other end will receive. Each face plate is labeled to were the HDMI outputs will be placed. If not installed correctly you will not receive anything.  Unfortunately there is no way to send a signal the opposite direction post-install. Hope this helped clarify.

Can this be use with a wireless bridge instead of the wired CAT5/6 cable?

No, the B126-1A1-POC is not compatible with a wireless bridge. However, Tripp Lite does offer multiple different wireless extenders that may better fit your application. Question 3

all of a sudden the lights no longer work and there is no signal. I know the cables and ports are good on sat box and tv. what could be issue??

I would start by removing these from the wall and using two 6 foot cat6 cables to terminate and try connecting the sat box through this 6 foot run to the tv.  If this works then something is wrong with your cat cable run. Like, length, cable type or maybe a pair is broke.

Question 4

Can this be used to extend the signal on a directv signal?  meaning the source would be on hdmi signal output of the directv receiver.
