Specific ideas
This about what’s in your sphere of influence- what you can really control- and what you can’t. Very thought-provoking and specific.

Great book and a very important read
I read this book and I see that if people would apply the principles of this book, they would be a lot less frustrated and way more productive in their workplace and in their daily life. If you are a boss or employe in any kind of workplace you can gain a lot from this book!

Read if you are new to the workplace, or clueless.
There's nothing really wrong with this book, but if you have good work habits, common sense and self-awareness, you won't find much that you don't already know. In a nutshell: manage yourself well and insist that you are given clear instruction and management from those to whom you report. Save your money.

Thought provoking
This book has incredible advice. I am very inspired to try ALL of the methods described. Easy to read and not overly wordy.

is the nub of this book and have regular weekly meetings with your boss to ensure you're still on track in meeting those requirements. Get 5 minutes with your boss even if it's with them when they're en route to somewhere else. There's no point you spending lots of effort working on the wrong thing, hence the regular touching base. I found that an entire book to tell you this was a little excessive.

The book is good as far as its purpose is concerned but is not engaging enough which can keep you going.
