Wasserstein Gutter Mount for Google Nest Cam (Battery) & Solar Panel (Camera & Solar Panel NOT Included)

I needed a Nest option for my garage...out of range to be nabbed...and solar compatible. This is the only show in town, so I gave it a shot. This gutter mount does everything I need it to do. Seamless to install, holds the camera and solar panel in place with no issues, and anything but an eyesore. Instructions are also quite good, although I did get slightly confused that the bracket on the larger Wasserstein solar panel slot needed to be completely removed (with the mount going directly into it). Yes, it occasionally wobbles (as other say), but not enough to set it off or be an issue. Being in FL, I'm apt to take it down during major storms (to be safe). Several months in, beyond pleased.

I've installed 7 cameras around my property. With the most recent one, I thought I'd try the gutter mount as it was in the right location. It's great! Very sturdy and it's very nice that it holds the camera and solar panel. Very easy to install too! Highly recommended.

Works great and secure fit with my gutter! I have a Google Nest camera and this paired with the Wasserstein solar panel it was an easy setup. Made of what seems to be durable plastic but time will tell. It great that the gutter mount has set screws for securing to my gutter and tightening the solar panel in my desired direction.

We ordered the Wasserstein solar panel with our outdoor Nest camera, and originally had used the included wall mount to install it. Unfortunately, due to an overhang on our house, the panel was perpetually in the shade and provided little to no actual charge for the camera, hence the need for the gutter mount. The product was relatively easy to install overall (easier if, unlike us, you have a ladder tall enough to get up to or over your gutters), with my only small complaint being that the tightening screws can be awkward to reach and turn if you're attempting to reach overhead to install the mount. We haven't had a storm yet, so we'll see if it (literally) weathers those intact, but it seems pretty solidly in place and secure. My only other small complaint is that the instructions leave a bit to be desired in terms of labeling the different parts (e.g., never appears to indicate that there are short and long tightening screws) and what some of them are used for (e.g., there's a solitary screw that doesn't appear on the parts list, and that's needed to insert into the bolt when tightening one of the joints...which the instructions never mention).

It's a good product with some diffitiencies. Cord management is a challenge but that is not the mounts fault. The adjustment knobs are weak and subject to bending, breaking. The plastic end tips are cheap. The screw hole registrations are too shallow causing minimal screw connection. The hex screws are too tiny and subject to stripping and finding an alternate tool other than the supplied allen tool is limiting for future adjustments. The structure is subject to wind shacking and can't be entirely blamed on the size of the panel. The product is a bit overpriced for quality and sturdiness of the product. It also must hold and support an expensive camera. So the product works, but the quality is questionable.

I love the solar panel. It keeps my camera fully charged. I would recommend people using these and easy to install.
