UPDATE 10/24/25 ** This company stepped up when Amazon didn't. BUY FROM NERMAK!!!!!!!!
Okay, I lied. Here we are a year later, and the batteries are still kicking hard. However, I cracked the frame on the chair, and had to get a "new to me" chair. My family and I recently became homeless, and the chair took an absolute beating trying to move furniture, and trying to handle a young Husky with a propensity to run off... through the woods... The batteries never missed a beat. So, when I was able to get the new chair, since it was donated, they warned me the batteries might not last very long. Unfortunately, this was more the case than I had hoped. My Ex stepped up, and provided the funds to get new ones, so I came back to NERMAK. Here's where things got weird. I purchased 2) 36AH batteries and my payment was declined, order cancelled... 3 times... Then I tried switching to another account. No joy. Something weird was going on with Telecheck. In desperation, I reached out to Customer service and the company directly. A few messages, clarifying some things, and they fixed the problem, and I got my batteries. I am officially a customer for life. If these hold up anywhere near as good as the others, they will probably outlast me. ** Final Update** Maybe... The last couple days have been intense, and even though I beat the absolute snot out of these batteries, they never missed a beat. Yesterday saw 8 miles around the neighborhood, and only one lost bar. **remember though, it isn't completely accurate** Rescued some ducklings, went to the store a few times, etc... Today however, I hooked up my old bike trailer to the chair and went full grocery shopping. Now even though this was 10 miles round trip, I'm hauling a trailer with a few steep grades along the way. Got to the store, I'd lost a bar, I expected it, so I plugged it in while I shopped using the handy "mart cart" Full load minus trailer was close to 80 pounds (36Kg) With the trailer, and me on board, it was about 260 lbs (118Kg) The full capacity of the chair with 18AH batteries is 300 lbs (140Kg) Remember, these are 12AH. That short 1 hour charge got me all the way to the gas station near my house, where I had to stop anyway. I put it on charge for 5 minutes, and hobbled in to get what I needed and made it home no issues. NEVER, even with my old chair, that had 35AH batteries compares to these. I'm not saying they'll last longer, but they are significantly lighter, and apparently far more power dense. I want to see what a 100AH ones on my trailer will do. Add a solar panel, Unlimited range...lol. Oh, Yeah, that's a cooler on the back, too. 7 months in... My old batteries would need replacing by now. These just took me on a 5 mile round trip over on a rough shoulder with a steep hill. Even though these are lower capacity compared to the old lead acid, they more than make up for it in weight savings. Essentially making it easier for the batteries to move the chair. I have a set of smaller ones in my cart for a RC lawnmower project I'm working on. Compared to the old batteries, I wish I could give these 10 stars. **original Review** A few weeks in, and 5 stars isn't enough. Everything I say below, and more. I've only charged these things a few times now, whereas with the SLA, I'd have to worry about topping off, or doing a maintenance cycle, which only seemed to kill them faster. These just perform. My range has increased significantly, but I don't have actual measurements. I reflexively look at my battery gauge, but I'm always surprised that I still have charge. I think the primary reason for the range increase is weight. These things feel like air compared to my old batteries. please read my original review below*** ***I bought these to replace the batteries in my Pride G0-Chair. I've been through 3 sets of the "Recommended SLA" batteries from the manufacturer, in three years. I don't use my chair every day, but when I do, I'm usually pretty hard on it. That said, the last set, which I bought from Interstate battery directly, only lasted mere 8 months. I was down to about .3 of a mile before charging, when the specifications list 8+ miles per charge. Though these come out to only 2/3 the original capacity, (12Ah vs. 18Ah) I was able to travel over 5 miles over 4 days on a single charge. I wanted to test the built in BMS's, and I also decided to order a charger specific to 24V, so I didn't charge it. The BMS safety kicked in and shut down my chair at my neighbors house. THIS IS NOT A NEGATIIVE!!!!! Regular SLA or AGM will let you discharge them to death.... literally. The protection worked as hoped, and as a bonus, I confirmed that the battery gauge is "close enough" to read these. If it starts blinking red on the controller, get to an outlet, or get home quick. The BMS doesn't play. I will say, they hold the green far longer, and once your into the yellow, they do fall off faster than I expected, but that is the nature of Lithium vs. lead acid. These do not fit my battery box , but I knew that going in. However, I am going to modify the box, and given the space, I will be able to install the charger on board. Which brings me to my final point. These things are LIGHT. I mean feather weight in comparison to the SLA/AGM batteries they replaced. Even if they matched in size and capacity, I can't imagine them weighing much more. They are literally about 1/4 the weight. The entire battery box weighs less now, than just one of the old batteries by itself. ****NOTE**** I had to change the terminal connections and am making modifications to my chair to accommodate these batteries, and have a good understanding of electronics, and electrical and charging systems. I used to build defibrillator's for the medical industry. Do this at your own risk!!! Even though it says you can use an SLA charger, I recommend a 29.2 volt charger specifically for LifePo4 batteries, if you are on a 24v system like I am. Last word: These are light, powerful, and charge relatively quickly at the recommended 5 Amps. Because they are so light, I plan to build a second "backup" for extended range. Even 4 of these only weigh as much as one of my old batteries. If anything changes, I will update. **Update** Okay, still 5 stars. Wish I could give 6. On my second charge cycle, and even more impressed. I don't know about longevity yet, but given my initial experience, and if they last even close to the specified number of charge cycles, these batteries will actually outlive me.

Update: Li-ion batteries work great. Been 7 months....
Updating my review to 5 stars: It turns out the batteries were not bad at all. It was a blown fuse in the battery compartment which linked all (4) batteries in series. Once I replaced the fuse the batteries all worked fine. So the repair shop I took my scooter to didn't bother opening up the battery box to examine it and just assumed all the batteries were bad since there was no power coming from the battery box. After I wrote to the company which sold me the batteries through Amazon messaging. They replied that they would refund me for the (4) batteries. I did not take them up on their refund because I wanted to test/charge each battery up individually instead of trying to charge them all through the battery box in series. They charged up fine individually. That's when I noticed a small round container with a twist off top instead the battery box. It contained a fuse. After replacing the F30A250V fuse the battery box was able to charge up all 4 batteries and plugging it into my scooter worked fine. [Original 1 star review] Purchased (4) of the Nermak 12V 12AH lithium batteries for an old electric sit on scooter. Used 3 times in 5 months and the last time I used I hit a small bump in the road and the scooter stopped working. I thought my scooter's wiring was faulty so brought it into a repair shop. They tried to charge the batteries but said they see 0 voltage coming from the batteries and recommended me to replace the batteries. The other 2 times I rode the scooter I got stranded because the batteries died. Again I thought it was a mechanical/electrical problem. But it was able to start back up after charging the batteries. Since the 30 day return policy has long passed and don't know how to contact "Nermak" since they only seem to sell through Amazon I am out of luck with getting new/working batteries to replace these duds. All 4 batteries... Wow!

Fantastic lithium replacement for lead acid batteries
Works great. Fantastic lithium replacement for the lead acid batteries. Charges quickly and lasts longer than lead acid. Length and width are correct. Height was about 1/16 inch higher but was able to adjust the bracket in my ACP to accommodate.

Perfect for our solar gate operator
We used these two batteries wired in series for a 24v 12ah power source for our solar gate operator. They charge all day and if you’re not opening and closing your gate 10x a day, these hold the charge. 2 weeks in and no issues. These tiny batteries are great and I’m so glad I went with this easy to install package vs any bigger SLA batteries. Great option for the price.

Don’t buy!! Expensive and die after a year!
While these batteries are light, they are twice the price of lead acid, and last half as long. I purchased the batteries about a year ago and use it in a UPS that is always pluged in. The power rarely flickers or goes out. However when a storm came through and the lights flickered the batteries failed, and now won’t hold any charge. Replaced with normal lead acid and UPS works fine. Save your money and buy another battery unless you want to replace ever 6-12 months.

Works well to replace lead-acid batteries, but slightly larger
I purchased three of these batteries to replace lead-acid batteries in a lawn mower battery pack. All terminals were placed in the same location as the lead-acid batteries, which made using the existing wiring a breeze. I used the charger that came with the lawn mower battery pack, and it charged each of these batteries to just over 13V, the same as it charged the old lead-acid batteries. They weight so much less; all told, with three of these batteries, the whole lawn mower battery pack weight decreased by over 10lbs. The only issue I had was that these batteries are slightly larger in width and depth than the lead-acid batteries. I had to shave off some of the bounding plastic tabs in order to get the batteries to fit comfortably inside the lawn mower battery shell. Once I did that, I could easily place them in the shell and still be able to open and close the shell with no more difficulty than when using the lead-acid batteries.
