I have bought the John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner many times separately, so finding them together as a set, and with a discount, was a great deal. My 7-year-old daughter has been using this shampoo and conditioner for over a year now. Her hair is naturally a dark blonde/copper tone, and while I would not say this product makes it significantly lighter, it really does enhance and brighten her natural color. Her hair always looks shinier and healthier after using it. The texture they leaves is amazing, silky and smooth, but never oily. She also loves the citrusy scent. The biggest win for us is the conditioner: it is the only one that actually keeps her hair from tangling. She doesn’t like to comb her hair often, but even with that, her hair stays mostly untangled for several days after using this conditioner. The only downside is the price, but honestly, the quality and results make it worth the investment.

I honestly don't think this really lightens the hair unless you use it religiously, and probably leave it in for a while. The "gradually" is doing a lot of heavy lifting. That being said, I think it is a great shampoo and conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling good, and the scent is a delightful, subtle grapefruit situation. It isn't going to make you smell like an orchard all day, but it is nice in the shower. This is good if you tend to scent yourself in other ways; otherwise, it would clash.

Smells great. Definitely takes the brassiness out and aids in lightening already dirty blonde hair.

If you are blonde and have highlights, this shampoo works well to maintain your blonde highlights. The conditioner is a little heavy so only the use a small amount and rinse well.

I don’t know why I haven’t used this sooner! I stopped coloring my hair in 2021 and have been growing out my natural color along with any gray that lives on my head, which it turns out is quite alot! I bought this stuff to give my hair a little love this summer and first of all it has left my hair very soft and moisturized! B. It gave my hair a fresh “just stepped out of the salon” look! It brightened everything up and makes it look like I did something subtly professional and all I did was wash and condition my hair! Definitely recommend! I will continue using this shampoo and conditioner for sure!

I chose this product specifically to help maintain the way my hair looks in the summer after lots of sun exposure. I've been using this set for about 2 months, and I will say I have noticed a difference. My hair is dark/dirty blonde, and has always lightened pretty easily in the sun, and my blonder bits are definitely lighter now than they were when I started. I think after a few more months I'll get my hair to the color I'd like. This product would probably work best on hair that's already lightened; I bet it would be better for maintaining blonde that already exists, rather than lightening hair that isn't blonde already. As for hair texture/feel, I think I have noticed a slight difference in softness; my hair does feel a biiiiiit more brittle now, but honestly I don't mind because I keep it at a pixie length, and the addrd texture helps it hold styling longer throughout the day. A solid option for anyone who wants to accentuate highlights and lighten a couple shades.

My hair turns a dirty blonde/ brown-grey in the winter or with any sweat. This, in combination with cleaning my hair, is great for winters to reduce the weird blonde/brown striping I get when Im not out in the sun as much!

Produto clareia bem levemente com o uso prolongado. Ideal para cabelos sem química, do contrário prejudica o fio pois tem água oxigenada. Cacheadas devem cuidar bem dos fios após o uso.

Aumenta o brilho dos cabelos louros.

Parece que o condicionador veio diferente do shampoo, pelo menos a embalagem é diferente. Mas em todo caso o condicionador é bem cheiroso, fiquei feliz pq condicionador e shampoo de camomila costumam ter cheirinhos bem ruins. Sobre o clareamento terei que usar por mais tempo para ver os resultados, mas já notei alguns reflexos bem mais claros após cada lavagem.

Comprei por indicação da Carol Capel, a intenção é clarear os fios brancos, deixar parecido com luzes, não uso sempre, alterno com outros, mas estou gostando do resultado, acredito que valeu a pena o investimento
