I needed to drill some precise holes in kitchen cabinetry for light fittings. Worked perfectly. I have since started using it to do a lot more. I see some reviews have criticised the precision you get with this - and it sound like someone wanting a bench drill to do precise engineering work. This is not a bench drill. It is an aid / guide to drilling straight or angled holes. I have used it now for carpentry and decking - and for drilling masonry and it for me it works fantastically well. Great quality, easy to use and adjust. 5 stars.

Well packaged and well made to, I've only used it with my cordless drill and it's great for precise and straight drilling. Well worth getting especially for the price.

Used to drill holes on steel plate. Very study, provides good support for drilling. It would be better if chuck can be equipped with a 1/4" quick hex change.

I used this for drilling at an angle and found that I had to build a base to screw it in to as otherwise it is a bit unwieldy but once fixed it is a terrific bit of kit especially if you want to drill several holes at the same angle. Hard to imagine using it as a mobile standalone for anything other than upright drilling as shown in the pictures as there is a bit of play and it isn’t particularly light once you have attached your drill. If it is a simple upright drilling guide you are after then there are much simpler and cheaper guides available but for angled drilling, I would recommend this.

Not too stable - the spring on just one side makes it hard to use properly.

I’ve given this Mobile Drill Stand five stars for the price I paid for it. The drill stand is OK you can use it for a number of activities from your work shop to site work. The main reason I purchased was to make certain when drilling holes I was getting perfect centre position after setting work out. I purchased this with out checking what it’s made out of. If I was to buy again I would have spent more money on a metal stand.

Far to much play in the nylon sliders. I've noticed this company a lot on Amazon. And thought a German company would never have precision problems . If it wasn't as much hassle sending it back I would have. Kwb how hard can it be to make the nylon sliders with no play.

Like most of the other reviews mine came with too much play. Approximately 2mm. This was too much for my project as I needed it to drill consistent holes in the centre of my markings. I did take the sleeve on the tubing apart and found a plastic collar which is meant to keep the sleeve from rocking and to keep it snug. But we know that it doesn’t work. Initially I wrapped some painter’s tape around the tube but it was too thick and was pulled off. It did stop the play and rocking but wouldn’t move up and down. After some thought I pulled out some copper tape i had lying around. I measured the thickness of the tape and it was around 0.05mm thick compared to 0.07mm painters tape. To stop the mechanism pulling or tearing off the tape, I taped it length ways on each side of the pipe. Wrapping around the whole thing made it too tight. I gathered that the play was lateral, so i taped the lateral and middle areas if the tube. Job done. Now only if they could engineer the inner plastic collar literally another 0.05 or so smaller it would be perfect.

Funziona molto bene, fa quello per cui è stato progettato e lo fa pure bene, per il prezzo che ha è normale che non sia preciso al ventesimo di millimetro. Prodotto molto soddisfacente, stabile e sicuro, il mandrino fissa bene le punte e non tende a muoversi in fase di foratura. E' possibile rimuovere i piedini di gomma per creargli una base ed avere maggiore sicurezza di stabilità in fase di forature angolari su materiali duri. Avendo provato tanti altri dispositivi di altre marche per la foratura verticale senza trapano a colonna questo è il prodotto che ho apprezzato di più e che sicuramente riutilizzerò ogni volta che ne avrò necessità. Unico difetto / non difetto il regolatore di profondità, funziona e rimane stabile, ma se proverete ad utilizzarlo per fermare il mandrino a fine corsa sappiate che la molla vi fermerà prima che lo raggiungiate essendo, quando compressa al massimo, più "alta" del regolatore di profondità.

très bien pour perçage délicat de diamètre moyen , ça vibre si on est trop gourmand ,attention ce produit ne permet pas de remplacer un perceuse a colonne comme certain le pense au vue des commentaires que j’ai pu lire il faut arrête de croire au père noël. mais fonctionne très bien ma permis de réaliser un perçage au centre d’un chevron sur 30cm sans difficulté un peu de savoir faire reste nécessaire pour avoir la un précision correcte
