Yes, the plastic liner from the Costco one will fit. You just take off the plastic trim from the top of the old Costco can. Take off the plastic bag holder from the new can and put the old cans plastic trim piece on. Then the plastic liner goes in just like it did in the old trash can.

I would say a little over 9 inches

No, the Mirage-T does not come with an inner liner. It has a detachable rim that goes along the top of the can that holds the bag in place.
