Reliable tape that gets the job done
I recently stocked up on the Merrimen Strong Heavy Duty Brown Packaging Tape, and it has been surprisingly solid. The adhesive is strong enough to seal heavy boxes without worrying about them coming apart, and the rolls are wide and long enough to handle multiple packages without constantly swapping tape. I used it for moving a few heavier items, and the tape held up perfectly — no peeling, no lifting corners. It also tears cleanly when using a tape dispenser, which makes packing faster and less frustrating. My only minor gripe is that the tape can sometimes stick to itself when unrolling, which is a small annoyance, but it’s easy to manage. Overall, it’s dependable, practical, and well worth having on hand if you ship or pack items regularly.

Does the job
Received these today and so used some for what I needed it for when I realised I didn't have any. Good quality tape. Seems strong. Sticks well. I used the roll on a tape gun that I already own and the tape went onto the package with ease that needed sealing. I would buy more if ever needed. Good value for money.

Good strong brown tape for packing and parcels
Great tape no breaking in it so a good quality in my opinion. Good value for money as as lots of things have gone up in price so I did look at quite a few of these and decided on this one. It’s a good size. It’s good and strong just your usual brown design, great for parcels or packing boxes I have wrapped some heavy parcels with this type and the weight hasn’t been a problem. I can’t say I noticed a noise level of the tape as I’m usually singing along to the radio!! I do recommend this brown tape.

Thin cheap tape
Cheap tape and it shows when you try and find the start of the roll. You end up spending time trying to find the start of the roll and when you do it can unroll unevenly tearing due to it being really thin. Yes it was cheap but honestly its a bit annoying and I have 4 rolls of the stuff. I would not buy it again.

Difficult to remove tape left a lot of residue. Often split when applying
