Awesome Bluetooth headsets!
I have had the smh-10’s for 10 years. They were awesome and proved the worth of Bluetooth headsets to me. So I decided to upgrade and see if a little more premium was worth it. I bought the duo set as we use the intercom a lot. Pros: Intercom wind noise is much improved over the 10’s. The upgrade speakers have a much fuller sound than the old ones. It still won’t wow an audiophile. But it is good sound. Speaker placement is everything. Battery life is awesome. They charge quick. Mounting is easy. I use on a Bell Pitboss. Wife has a Harley half helmet. Controls aren’t all together simple. Most basic functions come pretty naturally. The app helps with some more complex stuff vs. going through a sequence to do it thru button pushes and such. But once set up, it’s mainly volume adjust and intercom on/off, or answer phone call. Volume is separate for each mode. Cons: The only one I can think of is, voice command while riding is not very effective. It’s like all the noise filtering is turned off when you try to talk to Siri, and she doesn’t hear too well. I haven’t figured out how to keep it from switching to the bike when I answer call or make one. It’s usually about a second after they answer it swiches and I have hurry and switch it back. May be more of a Harley thing than Sena

Great sound
We replaced our old one with this and we were very pleased. The connectivity was a little hard to figure out but once we did it was a breeze. The size is perfect, not too big and not too little. The sound quality is really good. We have been on several long trips and haven’t had to charge the battery at all while riding. These are a good quality and perform to their name.

Nice unit for a motorcycle helmet
Install was straight forward and all parts fit well. Sound quality is above par. Voice for phone was good. Caller had no issues hearing me while traveling at well above highway speed with a full face helmet. I am not an audiophile and it took me several tries to link unit to my new bike . You really need to download manual and make several attempts to link. Overall, I am very happy with this unit. I will most likely buy a second unit for my summer helmet

Communication low profile
I bought this communication device for the Bluetooth connectivity and its head phone jack. I have custom ear plugs that will connect to the headset.

Quick Start Guid is just that
I got this to replace an older SMS 5 that I couldn't keep paired with a newer GPS. I've got two other 20S EVO models that I and my wife use on a couple of other helmets. Overall I was quite satisfied with the performance of those so ... . Installation was fairly easy and the unit fits well in my Scorpion helmet. Performance is as good or better as my older units. I only have 2 complaints. (1). The "Quick Start Guide" is a joke. All it tells a new user is how to turn on/off the unit. That's it! Really, Sena? No information as to how to pair it to a phone or another unit? NOPE. Gotta download the "Full version or User Guide from their web site or the Sena Utility App. Pathetic and lazy. (2) When I tried to register the unit with Sena I never could find a model number that their website would accept. The instructions say it's on the box but I put every number I could find on the box in there to no avail. Guess that's one way to avoid having to deal with warranty issues.

Inoperative S 20 EVO SPEAKERS
After testing my new 20S EVO at the start of installation on new helmet all tested ok. Then after it was No sound from speakers! I finally realized you had to click twice when installing the unit on the slide mount. I tested it and I is flawless ! Thank you Amazon!

Right out the box this unit didnt work
Right out the box this unit didnt work. First it's a real pain to update the firmware as you needed a have it connexcted to a computer and USB cord. As a brand new unit right out of the box, I spend over 4 hours trying to get the thing to work with no luck. It did pair well with my phone but I couldnt get any sound of it. Even when you first power it up the unit should inform you it's connected and tell you the battery level. Nope...Not with this unit. Other units may work well, but not this defective one . Was sent back for a refund.

Best Bluetooth Headset on the market. I’ve had mine for 8 years and constantly switch it between helmets and it works great, charges fairly quickly and a charge lasts forever. I’ve never run out of charge on a ride!!

Pleased with the Sena 20 evo so far , easy enough to fit, went in both mine and my wife's helmet with the clamp system with no issues. Sound quality is very good. I think generally I will be using it as an intercom , will answer the odd call and perhaps play some music, this seems reasonably straight forward without too much hassle. Some of the actions to operate it seem quite tricky with gloves but may get better with use. The only thing I've had very little success with is the voice recognition, it seems to register the words speed dial but never seems to dial the correct number. If I say speed dial 1 it dials 3, if I say speed dial 3 it will dial 2, very frustrating, for the cost I would expect better.
