Bends, but not bad
The staples like to bend when put into the ground. I’ve never had so many staples bend on me before. It was a large pack for the money. I guess I got what I paid for.

These garden staples are heavy duty and don't bend under the force needed to insert into hard soil. And the galvanized should minimize corrosion.

I used these in a sandy hillside and they worked great.
I have a sandy hill side at our beach home. These worked perfectly to hold the landscape fabric in place. I had tried traditional 4" staples but they did not hold. These 6" staples were perfect. (I did have to use a few 8" staples is some deep sand that had no soil mixed in with the sand.)
