Soft and moist with jam and cream in middle
Husband loved it. I like too. Very soft moist cake with a good quantity of jam and cream in the middle. Great for snacking for a side with coffee or just eat the while cake because you feel like it. Not a huge cake so can be eaten in one or two sits easily. I prefer me eating it in pieces with my afternoon coffee. Good value for money too.

Lovely bit of cake!
For a Morrisons cake it wasn’t bad value for money, felt really soft and plump with a decent middle layer of jam and cream. Tasted nice with a soft vanilla flavouring to it and the dusting of icing sugar on top made it sweet enough with being sickly - all supermarkets seem to offer their own version of this, Morrisons bakery has always been lovely of course - I’m a good 20 years deep at this point buying the bakery items!

Very dry and not very dense. The jam is nothing special either. So much better cakes out there
