Really good value

I'm sure I'm not alone in never buying replacement blades for my razor. I always buy these sets, and then when I've used all the blades buy another set. Gillette, Wilkinson Sword, I'm not really fussed, I just tend to buy what's good value at the time. This is the first time I've bought this Hydro 5 system, and I'm very pleased so far. You get 12 blades plus the razor which already has a blade on it, so 13 blades in total. It's a 5 blade system. Do you need 5 blades? Who knows, but it seems fairly standard these days. I do like the gel on these. When wet, the gel swells slightly and gives a very soft and smooth glide over your face. I don't always bother with soap. I often will just use plain water. That can be a little harsh and dry with some razors, but these are fine, very smooth and they leave the skin soft and supple without any razor burn. Overall, I'm impressed with this system. I particularly like the built in gel, it really does work well. I also like the fact that you can clip the top piece that's contains the gel, back, so reducing the height size of the head. This works really well, especially for shaving the difficult bit just under your nostrils. With 13 blades in total, it represents good value for money, and I would happily buy again. Recommended. Excellent razor blades. Good edge retention

Ok so been using Gillette for many years. But Uas I have sensitive skin I have always ended up raw afterwoods. If not straight after then a day or so later. I've tried Wilkinson Sword before and found them good. Decided to buy this on a Lightning Deal. Glad I did. There are 5 blades on each head. But WS have a guard they use on their blades which make shaving soooo smooth it doesn't feel like you actually cutting any hairs. Ok sometimes you do have to go over an area, more than twice in some cases too, but even after multiple passes I don't feel raw afterwards. Also I've yet to cut myself with WS blades. A cool feature which I absolutely love is that the top of each blasd head, where the trimming blade is located, comes away from the rest of the blade (see 4th photo at top of page). This makes 'cutting in' under the nose and around the ears a sinch! Remarkable! This is what I call inovation. Not Gillettes stupid rollerball action thing! All in all I'm a happy shaver! I payed £16 odd for a razor with 13 blades! Absolute bargain! And seeing as I only shave twice a week (although I do shave my whole head), and also have a 'Razorsharp Razor Blade Sharpener/ Cleaner', this pack will literally last me 2 or three years! Happy dayz!

Sharpest blade bar none! At least five shaves from every blade

Great value blades My bathroom is quite damp and I have had no issue with rusting No skin irritation and provides a smooth, comfortable shave. Effective.

Reasonably priced and works out far better value than modern multi blades that cost far more. Try an "old fashioned" safety razor and you'll never look back.
