Better Than Other Gels — Great for Controlling Snare Overtones
Loved it! This works better than other gels or Moon Gel products I’ve tried. It sticks firmly to the snare head and stays in place without sliding around. Most importantly, it really helped eliminate the unwanted overtones and clean up the sound. Definitely a great option if you’re looking to control snare harmonics effectively.

Drum dampener
These work really well almost too well. Super hard to take off if you want to move them. They work extremely well on cowbells

Much better than Moongels!
Very sticky and do a great job dampening the sound. Would certainly buy again, but may never need to because they’re so tough.

Excellent accessory
These were excellent on my opinion. Much better than any dampeners I’ve used throughout my percussion journey! To each his own

Could be a little more sticky
Not as sticky as I'd like. I've had 3 of them fling off, and once they're off the sticky isn't as sticky. However they do the job perfectly when staying put.

They really work!!!!!!
I've been playing death metal for 21 years and I never made my Tom Tom's sound as good without this dampening tool!!!!!

Ease of use
It’s a damper gel so not much more to say then it does what it’s supposed to do. I would suggest to get the small and larger sizes to experiment with what you’re trying to achieve. After having them on the heads for a few months and removing them to retune they left no residue, like couldn’t even see where I had them previously. Able to reuse them but will change out as they do become hard over time and I feel lose the tone I was getting.

Perfect for dampening
I use these on my rack tom and floor tom. I've got a Mapex Armory set using Evans black chrome 12" and 14" heads. These sound gels work great on eliminating overtones. Tried one of these on my Pork Pie snare, but it wasn't necessary. The box comes with 8 of these in 2 different sizes so it's a good deal. Would be nice if they offered these in different colors, but the red isn't bad.

Best gels I’ve ever used, had the same one on my snare for over 6 months, hasn’t moved still stuck solid, only the underside is tacky so doesn’t attract dust and dirt like moons and adheres to the head really well, big saving in the long term

Sehr cool aber wenn man sie einmal wieder wegmacht halten sie nie mehr. Die Klebestelle hält superfest aber wenn man sie einmal woanders hinmachen will hält Nix mehr. Keine Ahnung warum.

Really a good product. They are a bit heavy than moon-gel so if you love small/little dampening then you might need to cut this thing in half (which most of recording engineers actually do). It leaves no smell, no stain & works absolutely the best. One small eqpod completely changed the tone on my snare.
