I love cycling, also technology and recording cycling videos, sharing it on Social Media and etc. Yes, I am that guy every family has one, always carries the latest and greatest and always taking pictures and making videos LOL. I was looking for a stable tripod leg for my Insta 360 camera, while I have it on Instastick so I can record myself passing by with my bicycle etc. There are literally hundreds of them for sale on Amazon, unfortunately after spending all that money on camera gear, my budget was pretty tight. Finally I found this amazing tripod which ticked all the boxes on my requirement list for this kind of device. Sturdy, metal, lightweight, low enough to be stable so the wind doesn't knock it down. I ordered it day before yesterday, thanks to Amazon Prime, i received it in less than 48 hours - amazing ! Check out my photos. The screw on Newer mini metal tripod is a great addition for those with handheld action camera extension poles. Very compact and lightweight, providing a sturdy lightweight and stable stand solution. I use mine with the DJI action camera 4 extension pole as seen above. When folded it adds additional length to the already long camera pole. Extremely high-quality metal item with good rubber, gripping on the bottom and antislip sides when closed on the extension pole.

This is a nice sturdy mini tripod. I had this for a year and never had concerns about it not holding up. I have use this in several different configurations. It's pretty compact. I have used this without a tripod head, by simply putting things under up the legs to level it. My one complaint is that the legs only have one position. They can't really lock any other way and I couldn't find a way to do this. What I would recommend is putting holes or grooves in this so one could limit how far the legs open by using some kind of rope. I have another plastic tripod that has permanent velcro (the issue with that one is that plastic is too flimsy). I don't know how well this would work in practice of course. Anyway, this is the only feature that I miss.

For the price it’s a decent accessory for my DJI action cam 5 pro.

Sturdy product. Fit well with the insta360 invisible stick.

I am currently using it for my wireless security camera as I don't want to drill into the wall (renting). It is very easy to make the legs tighter but the bolt in the middle is already quite tight. The camera is 720g and it screws into the mount very securely and can be angled to my liking. For a very minimal tripod, it is very versatile and the quality is high, I feel like I can trust it to hold my expensive security camera!

Perfect for what i needed. Solid metal. Will last me many years. Nice low profile and tucks away nicely into those small pockets in camera bags. Great build and good price for the quality of it. I use mine for low angle shots and microphone stands on tables.
