I had a mosquito problem on my back porch and decided to try this out. After turning it on, within about 10 minutes I stopped seeing any mosquitoes at all, which was honestly impressive given my porch is around 15x30. I like that it makes a small sound when it starts up so you know it’s working, and the fact that it’s completely scent-free is a big plus compared to sprays. It has a built-in rechargeable battery, so you don’t need to keep it plugged in while using it, which makes it easy to move around and place wherever you need it. I did try the quick charger and it works well, just a bit bulky. My only minor complaint is that the USB-C port is on the front, which isn’t the most convenient spot, but overall it’s been very effective and simple to use.

Tried this on a couple warm nights and it works well at repelling mosquitoes. It is a nice compact size that covers a large area. There was no odor or difficulty breathing when it was on. My family and I loved not having to spray bug spray on our skin. I love that this is rechargeable and it charges fairly quickly. The downside is it doesn't work well if the wind is blowing and the repellent refills are pretty expensive.

No matter how much we try to keep our yard a NOT welcoming spot for mosquitoes and bugs, we have learned what our neighbors don't do.....it affects us. This means not emptying a pool after it rains! I have tried everything from natural methods, sprays, candles, torches with oils and everything has its limitations and drawbacks. Having a dog also means I want to use less chemicals that she can come in contact with. Spraying down works but if we have a wet Winter, that means the amount of time a spray stays active is shortened. Money and protection literally down the drain. I tried it yesterday while filling our planters with new dirt and rock and after hours of being outside, I am thankfully bite free. Huge game changer and especially when my spouse is allergic to the bites. The twenty feet safe zone it provides is real and creates a mosquito forcefield. No biters allowed! It's cordless and that means no cords and the refill lasts. I looked thinking this is a great unit but the refills will cost me and we had barely used any. It means I can enjoy my yard without worry and that to me is priceless. From someone that has also learned every trick at trying to manage mosquito bites, it will be nice now to take the proactive role at preventing them from even taking place. Get yourself ready and especially in Southern California where mosquito season is all year round, not just a Summer thing.

Thermacell is probably one of my most sought after products that allow me to enjoy my time outside in Houston, Texas. Outside ofthe scorching hot weather, we also have crazy humidity and mosquitos. They are like little gangs, so when they're out, they're out in full force. I don't like putting bug spray on my person since I don't typically enjoy the smell or the feeling, so I started to experiment with different types of mosquito repellent products. This one here is a winner! I love that it is rechargeable, has a small footprint, and you can turn it on and off when you want to - so you don't waste the product. It's easy to store and doesn't take up a lot of space on the table, so that's wonderful too! We just had a nice rain come through here a few days ago and this little guy kept the mosquitos away from my yard and especially my front door that I had to leave open to transport things in and out of. Such a life saver!

The product wasn't packaged properly. The refill unit had leaked into its plastic bag and absorbed into the cardboard box. Not only do I have less repellant, but metofluthrin is toxic and not supposed to be handled.

This misquotes repplent did absolutely nothing—mosquitoes were still everywhere. No noticeable effect at all. I regret buying it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
