A complete kit to get you tinkering
I'm really impressed with this kit. The shear number of parts it comes with is impressive. Motors, sensors, lcd's, really everything you could want for your first projects. On top of that you get a detailed instruction manual with pre-written code. This helped me understand how all the parts work and help me get them integrated together for my personal project. The only real downside is the extra parts in the box. There is so much stuff they don't explain, but that is included. With some effort I'll figure it out.

Excellent product
This came in a really nice hard plastic case with separate compartments. My son was super excited to get started with it but we haven't had a chance to start really using it yet.

Lots of good stuff to start with
It's a nice kit with a lot of useful stuff. The only problem I had with this, was the pdf guide. The tutorials have an unfinished feel to them. Some of the links don't work and the lessons don't explain things in a lot of detail. So if you are a beginner you might have trouble understanding what the lesson is wanting you to do. A little research of your own is probably gauranteed but that's not a bad thing. All in all though this is a great starter kit to help get some inventory for that project you're working on.

Malfunctioning part
I bought this kit a month ago, just to be surprised about the LCD1602 not working in my project, i tried a simple hello workd with it and did not work, any suggestions?

The board works the C++ is touch and go.
The product and parts are prime for the price point. The C++ code is hit or miss for each of the components we will require some tweaks to get them running.
