It removes 99.9% of lead, heavy metals, chlorine, PFAS, VOCs, chromium-6, mercury, THMs, turbidity, and unpleasant tastes & odors, while keeping essential minerals like calcium and magnesium.

What tubing is this filter compatible with?

Fits all 1/4" plastic flex tubing and flexible copper tubing, commonly used for refrigerators, ice makers and dispensers. Also fits 1/8" PEX tubing. Does not fit braided hoses.

Does this filter require professional installation?

No plumber needed. Simply cut your existing water line and push the tubing into the built-in John Guest quick-connect fittings on both sides. No tools, no plumbing changes required.

Can the WD-G4-2512-JG be used with well water?

Yes, it can be used with well water. However, the filter is optimized for municipally treated cold water. If your well water contains high sediment levels, a pre-sedimentation system is recommended upstream to protect filter performance and lifespan.
