This was for my Grand Daughter and she loves it.

this is a very high-quality instrument for the price. We bought it for our daughter to play in the school band and she used it for 1-year successfully. She was not the most gentle with it and we didn't have any issues with anything breaking or falling apart. Highly recommend!

Nice, played very well, this brand will get you through the first few years of band (6-8). My kid is every bit as descriptive as the next one and it survived my household of 4 kids. I didnt want to spend a lot if money on an instrument at first. The renting is great for kids and parents but you end up paying just as much in insurance as you do in rental fees. It was more feasible to just buy a cheaper one. I wanted to make sure that my kid would stick with it when she went to high school, she didn't. In retrospect, buying a blue one for school was not a good idea...it was the equivalent of buying pink camouflage to wear during your stint at a US Army boot camp. Turns out the band people are not real keen on students standing out with colored instruments . They make a silver one, so get it if you plan on having your kid use it up at school. My kid is kind of picky, and she loved the sound quality.
