For the price it's great! DOES fit and fully rotate on 70-200 f2.8L IS mk II
I really have nothing to complain about for this price. Build quality is not as good as the OEM Canon collar but it's definitely not that bad and fully usable - and at a VERY small fraction of what Canon charges (if you can even find one from Canon - which I cannot). Also - I'm not sure if others are installing it backwards or what - but if you install it with the 'groove' over the raised bolt heads at the base of the lens (which is really the only logical way you CAN install it), then it functions 100% fine. I can rotate the collar 360 degrees - this is on my Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS mk II lens. I should also point out that it's actually EASIER (and faster) to put on and take off than the OEM version because of the hinge. Canon's does not have a hinge and must be slid off the back of the lens (meaning the lens cannot be on a camera).
