Adorable! It has automatic moving parts when music plays, such as the wheel turns, the needle moves up and down, and the peddle moves back and forth. A bit delicate, as it is plastic, but a cute gift for the sewing enthusiast. It’ll bring a smile, that’s for sure! I love it! The drawer needs to be open for the music to play. Music stops when the drawer is closed. Rewind is located on right side of cabinet.

A Uniquely Special Gift
I bought this for a friend who is an advanced seamstress. She is very creative and loves to sew. When she opened the music box sewing machine she was thrilled. She was going to put it in a special place in her home. I may order a second one to remind me of my mother and grandmother.

Good gift BUT…
This is a good little gift for those who sew. The biggest setbacks were that the whole thing is made of cheap plastic and the wind up piece will fall off if you tighten it too much. It’s an easy fix but still inconvenient. It looks good though and works as it should. (The song played is Für Elise by Beethoven)
