While looking for the seals to replace on the worn out one on our boat's toilet, it was VERY difficult to find the right one, so I wanted to make a quick review to state exactly which toilet to get this seal for. This one fit perfectly on the 875 and 885. It was super easy to install and worked instantly. The model/seal numbers are totally whacked and you can't follow them based on schematics/drawings out there. Imagine how nasty it was trying to find the numbers on our broken seal. I just saved you the hassle. You are welcome!

After four years of almost constant use, my PortaPotti 365 seal is leaking. No instructions on the seal package about how to replace it, but I was directed to the Thetford website. Just the website, no specific area. The manual had no information on how to replace. I tried to use the Chat feature and waited for about 10 minutes, gave up, called the Customer Service line and had to mash on the number about 10 times before it shunted me to the toilet department. "Wait times are unusually long" -- why do they all say this? They just don't hire enough people -- and I tried to opt for a callback. Once again, the system didn't respond.

I own an old (1993) Sears Pack-A-Potti that is no longer produced. The Lip Seal was torn years ago and wouldn't seal the lower tank fully, so we gave up on it and stored it in the garage until now. Early this summer, I decided to see if I could repair it for emergency use around camp. Seeing Thetford, Inc on one of the parts, I checked out the Thetford lip seals on Amazon and found one that matched the exact dimensions of the torn one, which I purchased, installed, and tested over the summer. It worked perfectly, and made an old item usable once more!

I use this porta potty constantly because I live off grid and noticed that the old gasket after a year was allowing the liquid to drain into the tank from inside the bowl. it still worked but I knew the rubber gasket needed to be replaced. Thankfully I found a replacement and found it easy to install you just have to remember to look at how the old one came out with the little lip on it going back in the same direction I think it was up. I also wore Disposable gloves. The toilet is like new again and holds the water or liquid as it did when it was new. For the money it’s like I have a new Porta potty Fortunately I ordered two of these so I have a back up because I know in a year I’ll have to change it again but it’s still cheaper than buying a new toilet because this is a higher end porta potty.

I had bought this as a spare for the portapotti in the camper. Finally the old one got distorted and started to leak a bit. Put nitrile gloves on, pried out the old one with fingers, pressed this new one into place. Lubed it with a bit of plumbers grease to help it go in. Fit perfect. No mute smell from tank or drip when emptying. And this was very reasonably priced! Just ordered a spare.
