Savory Improvement To Noodles, Soup, Stir Fry....
Some of these instant broth, gravy or soup mixes have MSG, maltodextrin, etc. I like that this broth powder provides a nice savory addition to many dishes without any nasty chemicals. I've used this in many dishes and it's been good in everything. It's a good way to make a stir fry more savory. I use it with soy nuggets (B07BC36S52) to add faux beef to many dishes including stir fry, fried rice, ramen (with added sauteed onions, peppers, minced garlic and minced ginger so it needs more flavoring), etc. I made a big pot of vegetable soup yesterday and added the soy nuggets and this broth powder and it was the best vegetable soup I've ever made. I bought this to make lightweight camping meals but I'm using it often when cooking at home. I love that the powder has a very long shelf life and stores compactly, unlike other broth.

Souper flavor booster
I'm vegan and I love to make all kinds of soups. Since I live alone and have limited freezer space, I often have soup to share. (Who makes a small pot of soup?) Having a good, vegan broth powder is essential for me to add depth of flavor and a more familiar taste to the soups I share with others. I've been happily using Frontier broth powders for 30 years for soups, sauces and gravies. No frills, no fuss, just full flavor. Yum!

Pay attention to your order
I love the way this tastes, it dissolves easily, smells great and when I are a bit to my dogs food, they gobble it up. However, I just ran out and signed into Amazon to order more, when to my surprise it seems I order the 12 pack. Last year. I had ordered and received many deliveries at that time,so it truly escaped me that I just received one bag, not 12. So, pay attention to your orders, especially if you purchase quite a bit.

Very good price and decent flavor!
I'm vegan but I like having beef style broth for soups, chili, and "hamburger steaks" or just gravy. I have tried a few now over the years. I liked the Orrington Farms vegan beef base best but I can no longer find it on here and I'm pretty sure they've discontinued it. My 2nd favorite is the "Better Than" vegan no beef base but that is a small jar and can get really expensive. It is also hard to find with prime shipping. This particular brand is pretty good though! It comes in a bag and I just transfer it to a plastic bowl with a tight lid. You get a whole pound of it I think and it goes pretty far. I have bought it several times now and will continue to buy it! I also appreciate that I can use EBT to buy it (as of October 2023)

Great stuff but don't feed to dogs
This contains onions and onions are toxic to dogs. It won't kill them immediately but will cause anemia and that can kill your dog.

Great tasting stuff
I used this and Bromelain powder to make a tenderizer. It has a nice taste and can be used as salt or as a mild soup/broth base.

Tasty, but. . .
As far as taste goes, I'd give it a 4.5 star rating--it's pretty decent (I use it in my barley veggie soup), but my digestive system does NOT like this at all. It actually has quite a heinous effect on both me and my husband. It's pretty bad when you are emitting such putrid odors that you can't even stand being in the room with yourself! After our third serving of the delicious soup we had to put up the white flag of surrender and throw the rest of it out. We used to make the same soup using traditional au jus powder with no uh. . . . erm. . . problems, but wanting to incorporate more vegetarian recipes into our diet, we were hoping it would be a go. Unfortunately, it's a no. :(
