Be certain to use a 50-50 mix of the white hardener and the dark brown epoxy and then stir it thoroughly until the colour changes evenly to a very light brown. After 20-25 minutes the mixture will start to stiffen up making it harder to apply so only mix up small amounts that can be used up in that time.I have a small sheet of glass that I use as a mixing surface. It works well with little waste and is easy to keep clean.I use 99% isopropyl alcohol from Shopper's Drug Mart for the cleanup of my tools and mixing surface. If left to harden the epoxy will be almost impossible to remove so clean your equipment immediately after each use.The hardening and curing time depends on the ambient temperature so it's best to wait until the weather is warm or you have access to a heated workplace. I use the "thumbnail test" to determine if it's cured. If my pressed thumbnail doesn't leave an impression in the epoxy then it's cured and ready for sanding and painting.

4 stars only because I had to pay for shipping - 5 stars for the product. I have used this at least 5 times since I purchased and work really well in fixing small sections of rotten wood. I can't say enough good things about this product. Buy it if you need to fix wooden stuff!

Used this product last year to repair the corner of a window that had a large area rotted away . Followed instructions from manufacturerand it turned out great . Just make sure you don't get this stuff on anything else as it is very tacky and almost impossible to removefrom tools . I also used this product to repair the cracks on my deck railings and it really did a good job . It will be interesting to see whatmy repairs look like after this very cold winter here in Canada .

The contents were exactly as described - no unexpected surprises. PC Woody is great stuff. It allowed me to save a window sill that would have been difficult to remove otherwise.
