Leather Handle Guard - Axe Collar for Axes - Axe Cover and and Axe Handle Protector Ax Collar #8635

I picked up a super nice splitting axe and just chewed through the handle super quick. After doing a little research I found these beauties and they do such a good job of protecting your handle from over strikes. I've ordered 4 of these now for all my axes and not only do they add a nice aesthetic to your axe, they do a good job. Solid product. I wouldn't swing my axes with out one.

Seems very sturdy. Was easy to install and tie tied. Really like the straight curve at the top. This is very high quality, you get what yo pay for. Highly recommend to protect your axe and make it look really nice.

Well built with great customer service follow up. Bought as a pack axe, so the size is great. However axe tends to “bounce” a little when chopping even though sharp. Personally wish head weight was more but some would argue different for a axe you pack in on hikes.

I was very please with the axe handle guard when I got it. The leather is very nice and looks great. I have never put one of these on before, so it would have been nice to show some lacing instructions on how to get it started. I figured it out pretty easily though and got it on really tight and snug. Totally changes the look of the axe. I did like the product sheet that you put in the packet showing all of your different axes that you sell. They are really really nice. I might have to indulge and get one some day. The leather lace was great and I pulled pretty hard on it to get it right. It held up just fine. I would definitely buy this item again if needed. Thanks for a great product!!!
