World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume 2 Review: An Incredible Dive into Azeroth’s Lore - World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume 2 is an outstanding continuation of the series, offering an in-depth exploration of the rich history of Azeroth. This volume delves deeper into the stories of the Titans, the Old Gods, and the evolution of the world’s various races and factions. The detailed lore and stunning artwork really bring the history of Azeroth to life. As a World of Warcraft fan, I appreciated how it connects the dots between the game’s events and the broader narrative of the universe. The book is a great resource for fans looking to deepen their understanding of the game’s lore, and the art is breathtaking, showcasing some of the most iconic moments in Warcraft history. If you’re a World of Warcraft enthusiast or just love epic fantasy lore, this is a must-have addition to your collection. Highly recommend! Review: An Amazing Compilation and Lore Gap Filler - World of WarCraft is a nearly 25 year old franchise that was originally created to be an extension of the WarHammer universe. When GamesWorkshop decided that they wanted to go another direction, Blizzard said 'Okay, sure, we will make our own game franchise'. The rest, as they say, is history. Which is why they need these books. Lets be honest. Things have changed in 25 years. Things that the development team wrote way back then probably seemed super cool and awesome to include. But now, looking back on it, they see gaps, holes in the stories that they had decided would work awesome as a straight RTS story but simply does not work or service the story that they are trying to tell today. The Chronicle Books attempt to fill in some of those holes and make the rest of the WarCraft universe better. WarCraft Chronicle Volume 2 continues down the same lane that the first began, with one major exception. This book handles a lot more of what happened on the Orc's homeworld, Draenor, and how that world came to be and how the orc race came to be. It describes how the orcs came to Azeroth, what pushed them to do that, and more importantly, WHY they ultimately chose to come to Azeroth. The book completes itself by going in depth into both the First and Second Wars on Azeroth, filling in many more of the gaps that people have been wondering about for many years. I won't 'spoil' any of the revelations, but just know that they are some of the most welcome additions and clarifications to that timeline that Blizzard has put in since the games themselves were created. I would like to note that there is very little, if any, retconning going on in this book. What we mostly get is clarifications and stories to help make the world better and more developed. It is especially a boon for Roleplayers because it gives them more knowledge and more story with which to play. It also does not answer every single question that we have about the WarCraft universe. Rather than doing that, the clarifications actually offer more chances for individual interpretation and wacky theories to emerge. For any kind of fan of the lore of WarCraft, this book is amazing, well worth the five stars. The book is laid out beautifully, flowing very well from the first opening page all of the way to the last. The artwork scattered throughout this 200 page tome is some of the most beautiful artwork I have ever seen. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend reading it if you are a fan of the lore that has a great knowledge of the lore of the WarCraft universe or simply getting started. It is well worth your purchase, time, and effort. For Azeroth!!!!!

Great book
These chronicles are a good and fun way to catch up on all the lore of WoW. With so many expansions, it can be hard to learn all of the lore which is why I wanted to buy these books. Happy with my purchase and my kids have even been interested in reading them.

A must get for Warcraft lore fanatics!
Fantastic for anyone that is interested in the lore behind the Warcraft universe. It's written in a fantastically engaging way that wants you to keep reading the next part, and the lovely artist rendering the words into images makes it all the more interesting. The book, in general, is worth the price considering how great the page quality is, and I can imagine with the proper care that this can stay on a shelf for many, many years to come. A must pick up for those who read Chronicle Volume 1, and a fantastic pick up for those that haven't! It'll make you want to buy the first book overall!

Another WoW Lore Masterpiece!
I preordered this immediately when it was announced. I loved he first one and this one was just ask good. The art is amazing and filling all those holes in WoW is very nice. Although I liked the first volume better because it had more new lore about the beginning of the universe, that's only because I've read almost all the books and a lot of the lore in this one is told in books. But don't fret. There is a ton of little things you'll want to read into. And the art is beautiful. Really hope they keep doing this, but I gotta wait a whole year again. The torture!

Crappy delivery, good product
Books are great, the delivery atrocious. Package was left unnecessarily out in the rain when there was enough covered area to deliver it to. Idk who is outsourced to deliver this, but Amazon should enforce this better.

Gives Substance to the Game
While I wasn't big into the lore of the game, I had played the game since it was an MMO. Recently at work(still productive) I started watching to YouTube lore heavy videos put out by Nobbel87 and more humorous, but sometimes lore inclusive videos by Taliesin & Evitel(they are my favorite and funny as hell). They both refer to the Chronicles, so I said...what the hell, why not? These books are awesome. They add substance to the game world and really give insight into the factions. Also, the cosmology is presented in an understandable way. Finally, if you are a table top roleplayer, these books would be an excellent resource for building your own world. The pages are thick and the books are put together very well. Well worth the money and a welcome addition to any fantasy library.
