These things are just about perfect
After decades of dying my fingers after applying shoe polish with a hand held rag, I grew up and bought these brushes. They are really well made brushes. The bristles feel soft but stand up perfectly to apply the polish. The handles are solid wood, and just thick enough to feel great in my hands. I know it's dorky to get fired up about something as simple as a brush, but when you run through so many poorly made products in the course of life, it's worth jotting down a nice review for a high quality, reasonably priced item, even it is just a set of three shoe polish brushes.

Seem to be high quality. Actually exceeded my expectations. Work as designed. A must have for those who polish their own shoes.

Works Well, But Handle is Rough
This is a good set that does the job, especially since shoe polish makes these things unusable after a little while. However, the wood handle is a bit rough. Makes me worried about splinters so I use a glove with them.

High quality polish daubers!!
I've been using an ancient shoe brush for a looooong time. When I found these on Amazon and saw their quality I decided my well filled brush was in need of replacing, With three of them, I have enough for black, brown and maroon, I used a rag to spread the paste on the brown and maroon so this will be fun to have a brush for each color!! Polishing shoes do extend the life of shoes! It doesn't take much to make me happy, And I believe in finding the best. After all, the last one I made last for over 20 years. Hope these last that long, too, I think they will.

Brushes shed bristles.
Brushes shed bristles pretty badly but not bad for the money. I guess I'll just buy new brushes periodically (they're cheap enough).

For me, nothing to not like about this dauber. They work well putting polish on.

I bought a different set and returned them. They were not as nice as these. Good quality, brush surface area is large.

Well finished but on the softer side
The three dauber brushes are well finished and well-polished. The bristles are probably softer than I would have liked. In any case, each appear to be a quality product. It would be nice if each of the three brushes had bristles of different hues, such as black for black, red for brown or tan, and grey for neutral polish.
