There are so many things I loved about this book. I loved how Carver Pike tied in all the other Diablo Snuff books into this book. There were characters in here that I completely forgot about. It showed the reader how all the books tied together. Which I feel was important with a book this size. The storyline was the perfect amount of horror, gore, and suspense to keep you reading to the next page. It kept you wanting more. And once I read that last page, I wanted more. I kept saying,” This can’t be the ending!!” But alas it was. Once again, Mr. Carver Pike, you amazed me with your writing skills. This is one of the best books I have read all year. “Diablo Snuff never dies.” Review: Oh my lanta!!!! Holy catballs Batman! - Carver, you devious sick man! Your book brought every single previous book to an end! You also opened up the possibility of a new generation of heroes. I have no clue where you came up with this (gag, gulp and acid reflux attack) sick twisted manner you have of describing the most disturbing deaths ever! You even made use of our addiction to social media. Stephen King, H. P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker and Dean Koontz got nothing on your creative mind! If this series ever makes it on film the world will finally know Carved Pike!!! Lol. (Just being a good stalker fan girl...)

Phenomenal Read!
The Maddening is the final book in the Diablo Snuff Series and it’s phenomenal. I don't want to go into too many details, because once you start reading, you’re going to devour every single page of it just as I did. It’s evilly twisted, intense, violent, wicked, packed with action, and creatively creepy. A thrilling and utterly riveting story (and series) that should be on every horror fan’s reading list. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Conclusion
The story begins with tightropes and titties, as Perry and his best friend, Devin, enjoy a vacation in a small Mexican town alongside college students from all over America--and the rest of the world. Their enjoyment doesn't last long, as Diablo Snuff has plans for the revelers, at least the ones they find attractive enough to press-gang into the same sort of service Kong and Nick "Lucky" Luciano were providing in Passion & Pain. If you haven't read Passion & Pain, hopefully, you've read A Foreign Evil, The Grind House, and Slaughter Box. You should still have some idea what I'm talking about if you've at least read those three. Personally, I recommend going back and reading both Passion & Pain and Grad Night as well, because they all come together in the pages of The Maddening. It's wrong to say this story begins with tightropes and titties. It all begins in the pages of A Foreign Evil when Michael drunkenly follows a beautiful woman to a push-button hotel for a night of carnal pleasures that swiftly devolves into a nightmare of unearthly evil and sinister conspiracies. You've come all this way, though, so you know all about that. The journey here left its mark on you, I imagine. The Maddening is Carver Pike's conclusion to the Diablo Snuff series, and this man knows how to end things with a bang. The best way I can think of to describe the events taking place in this novel is to suggest that it's John Carpenter's In The Mouth of Madness meets The Purge while managing to be both more horrific and graphic than either of those movies. If that doesn't sell you on diving into this book, I honestly don't know why you'd be reading my reviews in the first place. You might not be my target audience, in which case you're almost definitely not the target audience for Pike's Diablo Snuff books. The movies were bad enough, allowing incarnations of evil creatures on the screen to infiltrate our world, stalking and murdering the viewers unfortunate enough to witness even small portions of each film. The release of the novels written by the authors who disappeared from The Grand Georgina signals the next stage of the Diablo Snuff master plan as the madness spreads throughout society, irrespective of nation or culture. This plague of lawlessness and insanity is amplified with the release of The Maddening, the book Tobias desperately hoped he could keep from distribution. None of these things are fast or dramatic enough in dismantling society and sewing chaos, and that's where the app comes into play. Across the world, psychopaths and damaged people compete with one another to commit the most creative and devastating horrors, racking up more money with each rape and murder. Against this horrific backdrop, the members of Psalm 71 must make their way to the heart of the evil that is Diablo Snuff, saving as many innocent lives as they can along the way. Knowing this is the final volume in the Diablo Snuff series, it should come as no surprise that the tale culminates in a battle between the forces of good and evil that crosses the border separating our world from unearthly planes of existence. This is a spiritual clash that would make Frank Peretti envious. If you're unfamiliar with Frank Peretti's Christian horror novels, you might be missing out because some of them are surprisingly good; but they're nowhere near as good as what Pike has laid out for us in the pages of The Maddening. This book is punctuated with set pieces of such depravity and cruel imagination that the reader can't help but wonder at the apparent limitless creativity brought to the table by Carver Pike where horror is concerned. At its core, this is a story of hope, though. The Maddening--as with the Diablo Snuff series as a whole--is about facing a terrifying evil and refusing to flinch. It's about standing ground and fighting, even when the easiest solution would be to turn away or to give in. Knowing that you may not survive, that those you love and who stand by your side may fall as well, but persisting in doing what you know must be done; that is the core of it all. In that respect, as in all others, Carver Pike has succeeded in crafting a masterpiece with this book.

The Maddening: Diablo Snuff Was Awesome!
No spoilers of any kind included. So this will be all that I say about The Maddening: Diablo Snuff and that is I thought it was awesome and I’ll leave it at that. Carver Pike definitely does have an amazing talent at weaving his stories to the point that you almost feel like you are there in the book watching it from the sidelines. So it’s going to be yes I most definitely do recommend this book. *An Advanced Reader Copy was provided by the author, publisher or a promotional service and I have voluntarily chosen to write a fair and honest review*

Masterful
Are you kidding me?! That was pretty much my reaction at multiple points throughout this book. I was so looking forward to the continuation of DS and Psalm 71 and holy wow did this book deliver! If it wasn't for work (stupid work!) always interrupting my reading I would not have been able to put it down. It.is.gripping. It.is.shocking. It.is.maddening. Carver Pike never disappoints. It's like watching a movie unfold in your mind. He weaves these words and scenes so fluidly and takes you on a ride across the world that is so tangible you feel it on your skin!

When evil exists everywhere, what side do you choose?
The Maddening is the final book in the Diablo Snuff series. I fully recommend going back to the beginning and giving a re-read so your mind is fully set into this world. We meet up with Psalm 71 and there war against the evil that is Diablo Snuff. A war that the world never saw coming and is dragged into (some willingly and some not). When the madness is set free, will anyone survive?

BISH BASH BOSH - DONE!! This is the 3rd book in this Diablo Snuff Series. It's absolutely fantastic it's my favourite series ....... It's just epic!! 👹👹👹 I can't eagerly dive into the next book as this is the last book in the series, so saddened by this 😭😭 This book has all the characters that we have come to know and love and empathise with Michael, Kong, Mia, and Sammy to name a few and I find myself routing for them when Diablo Snuff has its evil hands gripped around them. There are individual stories in between which you need to read until the main books 1, 2, and 3. This book has warnings that come with it, and by God, they are needed as there could be triggers for all sorts. Be sure to check. It has all what an extreme horror reader wants, seriously effed up scenes .... did I say effed up mutilation scenes, gagging, nausea, so much horrific gore splattery factor, I even found myself saying I hope no one can see what I am reading lol 😆😆. This author has written an epic series that I feel no one will be able to surpass .... It's just brilliant!!! The book and the series are so addictive that I have never turned pages so quickly, and damn the book kept calling to me!!!! Brilliant read. I highly recommend it!! I truly hope this author may, one day, write another Diablo Snuff book!! 👹👹👹👹

Carver Pike! You have outdone yourself with this one. I was impatiently waiting for The Maddening to release and let me tell you it was worth the wait. If I had to sum up this book I would say carnage and chaos. It was brutal, gory and completely messed up, all the things I love in a good horror book. You my friend are truly sick and twisted and I mean this as the highest compliment. You took me to the deepest darkest pits of hell and made all of my worst nightmares come true. The writing is truly brilliant, the plot is insane but not far fetched, people are greedy and evil is alive and well. This book was just so well written and entertaining, as messed up as it was I actually LOL’D quite a few times. Well done on finding the perfect balance and creating a hell of a good book!

WOW!! Well, that was definitely worth the "maddening" wait for its release!! Diablo Snuff are back, with a real vengeance!! There is absolutely nowhere to hide! Books that were written during the writers retreat (Book 2!) are out in the world and getting into people's heads, making them react in a way that can only benefit Diablo Snuffs plans for the world. And as if that isn't terrifying enough, there is also a deadly App that installs itself on people's phones, encouraging them to do sickening evil acts for money, causing absolute mayhem and carnage! There are so many amazing, brutal and inventive kills in this book, (the apple slicer being one of my faves! 😉) and the better and more inventive the kill, the more chance you have of becoming a "winner" in the evil game created by Diablo Snuff! The winners get to enter The Tower and once you reach The Tower, things get really bizarre and horrific! Carvers vivid descriptions left me feeling chilled and horrified! I really felt the deja vu experience right along with Kong and Sammy, and the rest of Psalm 71 reliving their past horrors made my head spin! I absolutely loved how Carver tied all the previous books together with this one. It felt like coming home! 😁 This book was brutal, sexy, terrifying, horrific, emotional, full-throttle brilliance! Absolutely Carvers best yet!! 🖤 I don't want to see the back of Diablo Snuff, and this book leaves some opportunity for it to continue its evilness! I don't think Carver plans to continue the series, but one can hope! 😉🤞 5/5 damnable demons from me 😈😈😈😈😈
