It expected it to be good and it is good. Device quality is more than decent and print quality is as good as it gets (thermal printing quality depends more on the paper than the printer). I wish it didn't have to come with additional power supply brick, which has a very peculiar plug. Still, as long as it works, it's no problem at all. Two things that might help. First, the MacOS driver from the website is obsolete and does not work. The driver from USB that came with the printer works fine. Quick installation and it just works. The driver comes with some funny spelling errors, that tell a story about quality control. The company seems to be more focused on hardware than software, but fortunately in this case no software is needed beside the driver. Second, it is designed to take 1" diameter paper rolls. But it does work with more standard 1.5" rolls. Bigger roll does not sit very tight on a smaller axle, but it does not cause any problems. After initial setup it is wonderfully useful and comfortable device. Quick to use, fast, efficient and not loud. It's ready to print instantly and you need no extra work - no manual loading paper, no ink replacement, no waiting for it to warm-up. Paper rolls inside the device really make a difference. It makes you want to print tons of labels and stick them everywhere. Which I do.

We purchased this printer for our warehouse packing team - a back up to a £600 well known brands model. It’s early days but so far we can assure you that it’s so easy to use - has a very respectable print speed and copes with 6x4 labels flawlessly. It’s so good for the price we might get a second one! Don’t hesitate .

Excellent product, easy to set up and I stall

This is a reasonably priced printer, and if you set it to the lowest possible print speed and a density of 8 (in my testing) you can get really pretty readable labels with working QR codes etc. Even at the lowest speed it prints a 100x150mm label in around 1.5 - 2 seconds, so no real need to go faster. Print quality at higher speed just gets worse. In case you're specifically buying it for use with ebay, I can confirm that the Royal Mail labels offered by ebay work fine with this printer. You have to turn off zoom etc to make sure the labels align with the 100x150mm labels, so you might waste a few goes. Make sure you get direct thermal labels. It's only capable of 203dpi, so that's "fine" for single-use shipping labels, but you can't really go much smaller than about size 8-9pt fonts. The build quality is fine, but it's probably targeted at the occasional use on a desktop rather than constant warehouse use - sometimes the labels don't feed through consistently so you have to press the button on top to get a bonus blank label and to make the perforations align with the printer's cutting edge. This might be because I'm still using a nearly-full roll of 500 labels and perhaps they're dragging a bit. Calibration didn't seem to help. The printer also comes with a driver CD, but this is useless because it's not 1996 any more. You can download the drivers directly from Seagull's website, and, although the Linux bundle works perfectly, I just wish they would give you the simple PPD file rather than a binary self-extracting shell script.

NB I think this listing has changed since I made my purchase at the end of November 2022 - I bought the Bluetooth version. Also…I initially wrote a 1 star review as the printer simply wouldn’t work, but I later updated the score to 4 stars and amended my written review as described below. However today - 17th September 2023 - I am updating the score to 1 star and adding further comments at the bottom of my review. I did a lot of research before buying this printer and I chose this one because it had all the features I wanted (Bluetooth printing, can take different sizes of labels, labels stored inside the printer, compact, easy to use) at a good price. However, it ended up being a huge let down at first. Although it was easy enough to download the app and connect to the printer from my iPhone, I just couldn't get to grips with printing a label successfully. The instruction manual is in poorly translated English so it's not particularly helpful, and the app is not intuitive and parts of it are in Chinese so it's pretty useless. I was able to import a returns label but for some reason whenever I tried to print it the printer would think about it for 30-60 seconds and then spew out a tiny QR code as shown in the photo. The code isn't even related to the label I was trying to print; when I scan it it comes up as '123457789', so it must be a test code or something. I tried asking for help but got no reply, so customer support is completely lacking. It was so frustrating to continuously waste labels so I decided to give up and I intended to return the printer for a refund. What a waste of time and trouble. However, I decided to give the printer a final try (if only to print its own return label!!) and it suddenly started working properly. I didn’t do anything differently; it was as if the printer all of a sudden wanted to play ball for some unknown reason and I can’t say I was unhappy about that! Now it prints labels in a matter of seconds and I’m absolutely thrilled. I may need to play around with the thickness of the printing as some of the barcodes can look a little thick…but that said they still scanned without issue by both Evri and Royal Mail so perhaps I’m better off leaving well alone! The fact this printer is black is a big plus to me as it looks slick and it won’t change colour over time (I hate how white plastic so often yellows as it ages). I would have liked it to come with a few sample labels for practice runs, but I’ve not marked down for the fact it doesn’t as this is mentioned in the listing so it came as no surprise. So if you have a similar experience to me at first, don’t despair as hopefully your printer will suddenly buck up its ideas like mine did! UPDATE 17/09/2023 Please do not waste your time and trouble on this printer. I have spent the past 3 hours trying to print a label but the printer does nothing. I started experiencing issues a few weeks ago when the printer spat out blank labels. I cleaned the print head with isopropyl alcohol as directed but this did nothing. Eventually after many tries it did print something but it was partially off the page and I had no idea why. I had set everything up as normal but for whatever reason the printer decided to play up. I reprinted it several times, each time adjusting the position so that finally it did print fully on the label, even though on my phone's screen it was showing as hanging off the page. So bizarre. Today I have gone to print a label and it spat out blanks again. I cleaned the print head; no change. I reinstalled the app; no change. The app keeps telling me 'printing completed' but I'm still sat here waiting for my label to print. It is so frustrating and it has wasted so much of my time. When it works properly this printer is great. But when it doesn't work the app compounds your frustration and exasperation by acting as if nothing's wrong. No error messages or anything to help explain the problem. Please save yourself the same hassle and inconvenience - don't buy this printer!!

La stampante termica arriva in una confezione molto ben imballata, dove al suo interno troviamo: - Stampante termica vretti - Cavo USB - Alimentatore con presa schuko - Asta e fissaggi per rotolo di etichette - Manuale utente multilingue - Chiavetta USB con driver per diversi sistemi La stampante è ben fatta, presenta un tasto di accensione e spegnimento nella parte posteriore e un solo tasto sulla parte superiore che serve per allineare le etichette o per stampante un foglio di test. Nella parte inferiore troviamo 4 piedini in gomma che permettono alla stampante di non scivolare dal piano di appoggio. La configurazione della stampante è molto semplice, basta attaccare tutti i cavi come indicato nelle istruzioni, inserire la chiavetta USB nel computer e seguire il video-tutorial passo passo. Il software fornito nella chiavetta USB servirà ad installare i driver necessari per il suo corretto funzionamento e non si dovrà configurare niente, tutto avverrà in maniera automatica (installazione eseguita su un sistema Windows 11). Questa stampante permette di utilizzare etichette con una larghezza che varia da 25,4 a 115 mm, con velocità massima di uscita di 152 mm/s, quindi perfetta per stampate le classiche etichette in rotolo da 4x6 (compatibile quindi con etichette eBay, UPS, BRT, e altri.). Essendo una stampante termica non è richiesto inchiostro o nastro TTR, pertanto di risparmierà non poco evitando cartucce o inchiostro. Ho stampato gia diverse etichette e non ho mai avuto nessun tipo di problema, le stampe sono chiare e leggibili, pertanto mi sento di consigliarla senza alcun dubbio.

Enkel installation på min Mac. Smidig att få ut fraktsedlar. Det kunde kanske kunnat vara med några provetiketter eller en första rulle.

It works out of the box, with their supplied USB cable, power supply & lead. Easy to set up: connect the cables, turn it on, load the labels, close the lid and press the top button to calibrate it for the installed labels. Comes with a getting started leaflet, plus a USB drive with everything else you'd need on it: manuals, videos & drivers. Their website and online support is easily found via the QR code in the packaging. The A6 labels are printed so quickly and yet the quality is excellent.

Excelente calidad, me ha sorprendido, Imprime mucho mejor que cualquier phomemo. Además no necesita ningún software de terceros. Instalas el driver incluido en un pen y funciona como una impresora cualquiera.
