If you are ready to have the fresh, sweet scent of the Florida Keys right in your own home, then Gerald Winters and Son Plants is proud to introduce you to our newest offering – Key Lime Tree. This Starter Tree is grown from seed and is currently between 3” and 5” in height above soil. It will continue to grow either outdoor, or indoor when temperatures reach freezing temperature. For colder winter months, you can replace direct sunlight with UV Grow Lights with no loss of development. They can vary in size, but are quick growing, so even a smaller plant will be considerably larger in a couple of weeks. Our horticulturists have planted, grown and nurtured our Key Lime trees since seed, and have cared for them for a minimum of 4 months. They are well rooted, healthy, and ready to be adopted into your family, to bring you years of joy. Being hardy, and strong, they are ready to be acclimated to your home, so you can continue to nurture them and watch them grow larger, so that in a couple of years they will be fruit-bearing. Each customer receives a free seed to plant, so you can grow a sister tree to keep company. Each customer receives a free seed to plant, so you can grow a sister tree to keep company. Good Quality
Was very happy with the two trees that I ordered. They came packaged well so they arrived in tact and safely. Quality was great. I managed to kill one by burning it in the sun, but the other one is still doing very well 6 months later. Contacted the seller because I did not receive seeds, and they informed me that previous buyers did not have a lot of luck with seeds so they stopped providing them, but Amazon won’t let them change the product description. Oh well, no big deal. Still very happy with the key lime trees received.

Exactly like the picture
Arrived in perfect condition, fine after transplanting to bigger pot. Lovely houseplant and gift. My only negative is high price for tiny tree.

Very Healthy Key Lime
I received a very beautiful Key Lime tree transplant and I appreciate the care you took to insure that I would receive a beautiful healthy plant. I do wish there was a link on step by step instructions of care, from the moment I open up the package, to months and a year down the line. In order to allow this little tree every advantage of growing up healthy. What was in the white bag? There wasn't any information on what that is. Do I need to buy one more for Pollinating, would be one question I would like to know. Thank you again.

Started small, but has grown quickly
Tree was quite small, with two leaves. I followed the care instructions religiously, including regular grow light use. This is the tree after one year. It has been transplanted twice, and is doing wonderfully.

Didn’t make it
Started off great but tree didn’t make it. Not sure what I did wrong. I followed the instructions. All the flower plants I purchased from Lowes 1 Fig, grape vines and some lilies from Walmart did great. I also purchased 3 Cherry & 1 Peach on Amazon that did fine except these mandarin, a pineapple plant, banana and some mandarin trees from Amazon. I think buying local is better. I’ve had better success, the prices on Amazon are much higher. I could have gotten a 1 or 2 year tree at tractor supply for the amount I paid for this sapling.

Bought 2 both died within weeks.
Didn't make it more than a couple weeks, I bought two, huge waste of money, these were not cheap. I would not buy again. They were well packaged and alive when received, they just didn't seem healthy enough to make it and grow as they were supposed to with the proper care that I tried to give them. Oh, well, nice idea anyway.
