One Beautiful and Excellent Quality Cane
I've been using the IMMMS Walking Cane for both everyday functionality and special occasions, and I must say, it's truly exceptional. The premium Ebony wood is not only gorgeous but also gives the cane a robust feel that's both reassuring and elegant. I've purchased two of these canes - one for daily use which has naturally shown some signs of wear, but this only adds to its character. The other I keep pristine for nights out, and it never fails to draw compliments. The 3-piece folding design is incredibly practical; it folds down neatly into the included travel bag, making it perfect for travel or simply stashing away when not in use. The craftsmanship is evident in every detail, from the smooth finish to the sturdy locking mechanism that ensures the cane stays secure when extended. This cane isn't just a mobility aid; it's a statement piece that combines utility with luxury. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cane that offers both style and substance.

WONDERFUL CANE, BUT BE CAUTIOUS WHEN SHORTENING
Very attractive and sturdy. Positively ideal take-down cane for air travel, including the soft protective case. And although it's a take-down, it lands very quietly, unlike some adjustable aluminum canes that sound like something out of a horror movie. Now then, inasmuch as I'm very fussy about my cane lengths, I always have to custom cut them. Since this cane's top-to-bottom taper is more than most, the diameter of the cane at the place of the cut can vary enough to confound slipping on the new rubber tip. If shortening the cane, you must measure very careful to ensure that the new rubber tip will fit snuggly over the cane's diameter at the place of the custom cut.

Ultra Luxury Cane
I bought the IMMMS cane after buying and immediately returning a much better known and somewhat less expensive brand that was extremely disappointing in both appearance and construction. This device, on the other hand, is even more formidable in person than in the product description. Extremely beautiful wood and luxury feel, and built like the proverbial tank. It is considerably more elegant than most of the other overdone high end canes I have seen, those with the sculptures and virtual gargoyles welded onto the handle. The IMMMS is very straightforward and uncompromisingly elegant. It really is a utilitarian work of art. There are only two potential drawbacks. The lack of a rubber tip took a little getting used to at first, but it looks better this way in my opinion, is actually better on some surfaces, and if you don't like it you can get 3/4 inch diameter rubber tips just about anywhere. Furthermore, this cane is heavy. For me, this is not a drawback. I love the solid feel and sense of solidity it conveys, although I can imagine it being a problem for people whose upper body strength is seriously compromised. In short, I am extremely impressed with this cane. Highly recommended, even if you don't need a cane to help you walk!

A well-crafted, classy (but heavy) cane
Don't get me wrong: I love this cane... but, it is not without some issues. I ordered a 36" cane. When I recieved it, it was about 37"... seems like a small discrepancy, but believe me, when you have to put all your weight on it it is not. So I sent it back for the 35".. which actually measured about 35.75". That's fine, my cane size is 36", and that is close enough. The second thing to consider is that these are not light. The second one definitely weighed more... probably a difference in wood density... that an happen... but it seems to me that this is definitely heavier than a 20oz bottle of coke... I don't keep such things in the house, so I couldn't make a back-toback comparison... but this is easily the heaviest cane I own (and I have 5 now). The last consideration is the hand grip. It is small. I think my hands are pretty average for a man, I usually wear an extra-large glove, sometimes a large. This grip is small, about 60% the length of my other canes with the same style.... something to keep in mind. Now that that is out of the way, I will say this: this thing has a tremendous build quality and looks fantastic. This cannot be over-stated: It looks classy. Much nicer to walk with than an aluminum geratiric cane. While it is not light, it is still certainly portable, so the only time the weight might get in the way is if you are at the limit when traveling by plane. It is still definitely worth the money. The thing is also very strong, able to take all 175lbs without a hint of bowing. In sum, I hat to focus on the negatives of such a well-crafted item... but I thought people should know these caveats (note, I'm not saying "cons"). As for me, I'm keeping mine. I cannot part with it. I just wish it was a little lighter, and the hand grip was bigger... but I'll survive.

Amazing!
I'm almost 40 and mostly mobile so I don't have a daily need for a cane. I bought this because there are times I need one and this cane looked amazing. In person it feels great. The shape of the handle and height is perfect. Generally I don't see the grain easily, but under a lamp you can see the beautiful grain of the wood. As others have said this has some weight to it. I really like that aspect of it, not as a weapon as some mention, but it just feels like you own something solid and not like those aluminum canes that feel like they might break. However, since I don't use a cane much I can see how a lighter cane would be beneficial for continuous use and if that's the case I would find a strong, but lighter alternative. For those like me that need to travel with it, there's a cloth case it comes with that will keep each section separate. There are foam plugs for each of the lower sections so that they do not slide up and damage the handle while traveling. For someone who doesn't need a cane often, I'm thrilled with this. If I had to use it all the time I think I'd be even more thrilled.

Beautiful Cane
This cane is better than expected! My husband uses it everyday to help with his balance issues. The handle is very comfortable, and the height is just right. It is a sturdy, well made piece!

Nice portable back up cane
On a recent vacation my wife accidently broke my cane. This was catastrophic as I need a cane for mobility. We managed until a replacement could be obtained a couple days later. I purchased this cane as a backup to be kept in my luggage as a spare. It's serves this purpose handsomely. It is not adjustable so I had to cut the tip off and put a rubber cap on it. All orthopedic canes have to be cut to fit, most have rubber tips and replacements are available. The cane itself is a beautiful ebony; not quite black but very dark. Ebony is a very dense wood and as such, a little heavier. It's a good trade though, as what it adds in weight it makes up for in strength. The connecting joints are a tongue and groove screw in fitting, which ensures the connectors are not weak points. The handle is well polished and fits the hand well with no rubbing issues. It's not ergonomic but it feels good. as such it will work with either hand. Overall this is a very nice cane. I did put a protective polish of Renaissance Wax on it which really brought out the grain and the beauty of the wood. Would I recommend this cane? Yes, definitely. I've had to use a cane due to back issues since 2005, so I'm well familiar with them. This is a keeper.
