Fits and works like a Motorcraft part
The usual Motorcraft quality, as far as I can tell so far.. Let's see if it'll last 208,000 miles like the original did. (fyi: the oem unit never failed, but the plastic thermostat housing warped requiring replacement of all parts in the offending area) I used the aluminum thermostat housing from SimmonsAutosportz. Superb quality on that part..

Great calibration
Temp is good. The year old stant was supposed to be 190 degrees F, but was mismarked and only gave 176 degrees F. This Motorcraft thermostat is exactly correct.

Hello this thermostat is a genuine Ford part that fit my 2001 sport trac 4.0l works proper and maintains between 188and 191 deg F. Vehicle warn up faster . Been testing for 3 weeks in cold Canada.
