Jenn-Air 6" Range Cooktop Stove Replacement Surface Burner Heating Element Y04100165

Didn't have my model # so was guessing this was the right one for my about 15 year old Jenn Air. With a little adjusting, we got it to fit and it works great.

It fits perfectly my Jenn Air cook top.

Product arrived quickly and well packaged. However, even though I verified with the comparison check sheet, the burner does not fit. The part of the triangle across from the plug in is too long. Fortunately, I have access to a machine shop who used their grinder to take off the excess and made it fit. Now it works fine. If it had fit, I would have given it a five star rating.

The item works well. The package was just a bubble bag and was beat up in shipping. Fortunately it was not damaged, but easily could have been.

it works, things get hot. it fit just fine (older downdraft jenn-air range) -- ymmv.the packaging was insufficient (had holes, no real padding), but that isn't the product's fault -- it is the seller. nevertheless, the element survived the shipping and it is nice to have another working burner.

I have an older Jenn-Air range (over 30 years old) and it is getting progressively harder to find parts. I'm lucky I was able to find this element on Amazon. It is the read\l deal and not a knock-off. It gets red-hot fast. I can't ask for much more. Great price and saved me from having to buy a whole new range.
