this is delicious! the caramelized onion, gives both the tart/bitter of the onion with the sweetness of the jam in a great symmetry. delicious on cold and hot sandwiches

Delicious product - good for toppings on pasta, as a side with an Indian meal, with cheese or a little straight from the jar on a spoon. A balanced combination of sweet and onion taste. I guess the larger size wasn't available and I received two smaller jars which is just fine as I know who will get the second one as a Christmas gift.

I'm from the US and can't find onion chutney anywhere. This saved my life. It's DELICIOUS. Save on shipping by buying more than one... I think if you order under 5 it's the same flat price for shipping.

I cooked sausage and then simmered the chutney for 10 minutes and it’s delicious. My Aunt made it for me in Scotland on my visit.

My onion soup recipe required onion chutney and it added to the flavor. I also use in my gravy and stews.

The label is different than pictured. Foreign nutritional info. As a US citizen it makes no sense because this product comes from the UK. No serving size, nothing to help you figure out how much sugar is in a serving. Although the first ingredient on the label is sugar. Also, not readily disclosed is the fact that this comes from the UK and takes considerable time to arrive. I need to be more careful purchasing I guess. I don't know how it tastes, have not tried it yet. Since I am trying not to eat so much sugar I will be using in moderation.

Auch wenn's echt nicht günstig ist...aber nur für Burger hin und wieder, hält die Menge ne Weile. Hoffentlich werden die , geöffnet, nicht so schnell schlecht.

Ich mache sehr gerne selbstgemachte Burger und hatte nun die Idee, diese mit Karamellisierte Zwiebeln zu verfeinern. Ich war zuerst skeptisch ob ich so etwas bei Amazon bestellen soll aber leider gibt es bei mir am Land keine Möglichkeit Karamellisierte Zwiebel zu kaufen, wodurch ich sie dann bestellt habe. Ich bereue es nicht, sind heil angekommen und waren sehr schmackhaft. Achtung, wie einige Bewertungen schon Anmerken sind diese Zwiebel im Vergleich sehr süß, wer es nicht so extrem süß mag sollte zu einer anderen Marke greifen.

Der Geschmack der karamellisierten Zwiebel ist super. Als Beilage beim Pausen rot (Schinken, Frikadellen) eine perfekte Abrundung. Der Preis ist ambitioniert, selber machen geht auch. Nur die Haltbarkeit ist schlechter.
