I am using this to share one docking station (StarTech USB, three monitors, speakers, Keyboard and Mouse) with two laptops. The transition between laptops is seemless and quick. The performance has been excellent, and it is small enough to EASILY be out of the way. The remote button is great, comes with doublesided tape for easy attachment to a monitor stand. The entire process to setup took me five minutes, very easy and straight forward. All the needed cables were included. A true one-box solution Excellent product. Expect I'll be buying more in the future!

Like other reviews mentioned, there can be issues when switch 1 is selected. Both lights on the remote appear on. Switch 1 sometimes works, but often gets flakey or sends signal to output 2. My keyboard lights sometimes flicker when switch 1 is selected. I’ve tried reseating and switching the cables. When it works it’s great. The remote makes it really convenient to switch which computer my keyboard is connected to. It just only works half the time. I don’t see any good alternatives so I’m rolling the dice and getting a replacement. Update: The replacement switch works great!

I really wish this device had better power management. Sharing the power between two different devices is generally a bad idea. I've been using this to switch a powered USB 3.0 dock between my work laptop and my desktop. This way I could easily switch my keyboard, mouse, headset, microphone, and other devices between the two. I really liked that this device came with the button that you could stick anywhere for easy access and was one of the primary reasons I bought this device. It worked great for a while but then I started getting issues with my connected USB devices just dropping off the hub and reconnecting. I was currently working so I just unplugged my desktop and it fixed the issue. Later when I got on my desktop the USB controller wasn't working. I had to plug into a different USB port to get it to work again. This was the only device connected to those ports for that controller so I don't see what else could have caused it to fail. I tried reinstalling the drivers and reformatting the machine and the ports still don't work. I still have plenty of ports on the back of the machine but I am disappointed it fried one of my USB controllers. I would rather have a device like this but that is self powered and isolates the different connections. I would not use this for anything mission critical. I now have to physically unplug and switch the connection between the two machines again making this product useless for me. This would have been an amazing device for the price if it wasn't for this flaw. I wanted to give more stars but considering this product is marketed for the exact use case I was doing and it did harm to my device I can't give it more. I'm just glad it didn't damage my type-c dock.

Great idea and form factor but the button started failing within a few months and after 7 months the button is working poorly. I hear a click noise but nothing switches over. Seller support was excellent.

I wanted an inexpensive solution to switch my Logitech Keyboard and Mouse (unifying USB dongle). It's has two ways to switch the devices (on the box and with the remote). This is working perfectly. The small form factor doesn't take up my space. My only complaint is that the cables that ship with it are USB-A to USB-A and could be a little longer. Because they are USB-A to USB-A, you can't simply grab a longer USB cable you might have lying around the house.

Worked fine -- for a little less than one year. Disappointing. With so many cheap electronic products like this one, you get what you pay for.

I purchased this item with the purpose of routing audio between One microphone into two computers as I stream on multiple platforms and have a dual PC setup. After doing some incidental research I found that there's more than just using a switch like this to be capable of doing that. Fortunately I found out that this switch is very useful still in a dual PC setup as I have multiple hard drives connected via USB hub that works really well with my switch I purchased. Transfer speeds are adequate and stable just a little slow on the initial switch but not horribly slow. Now I have the benefits of transferring all that data from computer to computer without having to unhook and rehook up the hard drives when switching between the two. This purchase was a blessing and will probably purchase another soon. Definitely recommend if you have a situation such as myself as it has made things in life a lot simpler and easier for my workflow.

Does exactly what it should do. I use it as a simple switcher for a wireless keyboard/mouse receiver when working between two PCs where a software KVM isn’t feasible.

I purchased this back in August 2022 to connect a 7 port usb 3 hub to two computers so that I can switch it between them (the advertised "1in 2 out"). It's seen nearly daily use and hasn't once had a problem. I have not used it in the "2 in 1 out" configuration, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't work. One thing to realize is this is a "switch" as in it switches whatever is connected to it (the 1 port side) between the 2 connected devices. So only 1 of the 2 ports on the 2 port side will be active. This does not act like a network switch.

Justo lo que necesitaba, funciona sin problemas, tengo conectado un USB HUB en la entrada y mi computadora personal y la del trabajo en las (2) salidas. Cuando quiero usar mis perifericos en una computadora solo presiono el switch y los cambia sin problema alguno. El USB hub tiene su propia fuente de poder, y tengo conectados teclado, mouse, camara, microfono y audifonos.

Questo deviatore USB funziona perfettamente con la mia tastiera Corsair. Finalmente posso passare da un computer all’altro senza staccare e riattaccare cavi (evitando quindi l’usura del connettore). La commutazione avviene dopo un paio di secondi ma poi si mantiene stabile e non perdo una battitura. Ne avevo comprato in precedenza un altro simile su Amazon ma era di pessima qualità mentre questo è perfetto.

Está perfecto. Si tu caso es que tienes dos pcs, y solo unos buenos cascos, con esta vaina cambias de que PC les llega la señal. Que antes estaba desenchufando cada dos por tres el dongle, y bueno es una historia.
