Delonghi 5113211291 Water Pump

I found a used Dehlongi espresso machine at the thrift store and bought it for cheap. Upon testing it I discovered it wasn’t working. Diagnosed that the pump wasn’t working. Bought this pump that was delivered the next day and installed it and voila I have a working espresso machine. It’s just as loud as the old one. I found a video on YouTube of a person replacing theirs and felt confident I could do it. Wasn’t difficult. Given the price of a Dehlongi espresso machine it was well worth it to replace the pump.

In the past, we have had to send our coffee maker out for repair, one time costing about $375. This time I ordered the pump on my own. The installation was reasonably easy after reviewing a couple of YouTube videos. The new pump has been in for only about one week, but our machine works better than it has for years. When the pump is strong, it cuts down on the bitterness of the espresso, since the water is pushed through more efficiently.

I've been going through a list of possible issues in my Delonghi Rialto cappuccino machine for the "ground too fine adjust mill error." I had already started shopping for new machine when I found this affordable pump and thought I would try one last repair. Sure enough, it started working again. I didn't prime the pump before or after install like the other reviews suggest, but it completely purged the air from the system during the test run.

It replaced the original one perfectly. I have had it for about 5 months, so I don't know about the durability. No problems so far.

Worked great! (For about 2 months.) Having the same problems as the original motor, which lasted a few more years than this replacement.

Works like a charm and was an easy replacement. I’m glad I watched a YouTube video though as I might have pulled the wires that are glued to the pump too hard instead of breaking the glue.

My Perfecta machine started to sound weird (i.e. not as loud) when pumping water and with very, very low water flow. After watching on YouTube for how to fix the machine, it was said that it was usually the infuser or water pump being the cause for low water flow. So I searched on Amazon and found this item. Took a bet and was lucky that this small pump fixed the machine that's worth hundreds of dollars. note that for Perfecta, there are wires glued to a socket on the pump; that glue needs to be removed (I used knife and screwdriver). there is a YouTube video from Delonghi that shows how to replace the pump, but it is unnecessarily complicated; you don't need to take apart the top plastic part as they did; there's another user video that's specific for fixing the Perfecta.
