Bought to replace an old pair of scissors, used in house (kept in the kitchen) for everything other than food. For cutting open plastic packaging, opening taped cardboard delivery boxes, cutting zip-ties etc. These are instantly brilliant - compared to our old ones. They had become loose at the joint pin, with no means of tightening. These ones are properly weighty and seem very heavy duty. Super-sharp too, which along with the heavy forged metal - mean they cut very cleanly and very easily. This makes them much more reliable and more controllable. Recommended.
