I bought this to replace an Ipad that died after some years of service. This was at less than half the price of a replacement Ipad, probably far, far less actually as I wanted something that would take a SIM card, not the dongle I used for the Apple. I really am pleased with it. My only irritations are that Android applications have far more adverts and they are very much more intrusive that those that used to come with the "free" Ipad applications, the touch screen does not feel quite as positive as the Ipad was, some selections being a bit fiddly and needing a few dabs with the digits. Anyway I'm sold on the unit, I dont claim to be an expert or indeed use many applications, but I find it fast and effective.

Good value for money. Screen is a little dim for use in direct sunlight that I need for my boat.

The Samsung tablets are really sturdily built with excellent sound and screen. The doubling up of Samsung and Google apps can be confusing (other brands provide a more native Android experience), but the services and apps work well

We bought the 32gb model and were really disappointed. By the time you download a couple of apps your storage is gone. So much taken by Samsung system that you can't really get too much. We even got a 128gb SD card which you can transfer external apps onto but you can't get rid of any of the apps on the device that you don't need or use. Go for a different brand or larger storage.

I'm still surprised that after so many people saying this device doesn't have the 4Gb ram in the short description but 3Gb in the specification.. it STILL says the same thing! However.. despite this, it is good value for the audience it is aimed at.. i.e. not iPad aspirationals! No it doesn't iPad specification - Nor is it a top flight Galaxy tablet. But it is not priced their either. However if you have come from a similar audience tablet from 4 years ago as I have, it is a lot faster! I'd buy it again... Bonus.. I Got the LTE (phone sim version) for only another £1 over WiFi only. better resale as you can sell it/use it.. as a Phablet. LOL
