Gooq quality easy installition
Item arrived on time and matched discription provided. Lubricating the bushing and the shift rod with the grease included in the kit makes installation really easy (Less than 30 min). I would this reccomend this kit to 2010 Frontier owners.

Perfect fit for 2005 xterra
Son came in the house and said he put it in reverse and the engine stopped running. He couldn’t shift it back in park. Googled the issue and this bushing displayed. You don’t need to remove the entire console as one YouTube video suggested although it would give you more room to work. I was able to install without removing the entire console. I removed the cup holder, then the molded piece around the shifter. Then unsnap the gear shift piece(plastic part with P,R,N etc….be careful so you don’t rip apart the wire for the light. Then I removed the metal clip holding the wire, removed the wire from the plastic piece so I could remove the wire from the center of the gear shifter. Installed the bushing, then put the wire back in the gear shifter and pressed the bushing into the gear shift. You will know when it all the way in because it sort of snaps/snugs in place when your pushing it. And install everything you removed. Several YouTube videos exist. I hope it lasts as long as the original, then I won’t have to do it again….lol

Great upgrade, after my bushing broke
Nissans are NOTORIOUS for having the shifter bushing break, and then you're stuck in whatever gear you're in. If it ever happens, don't freak out. This kit is cheap, and it gets changed in 3 minutes. plus it being a urathane (spelling) it'll last a lot longer than the cheap recycled plastic that Nissan uses. Plus, if you live in a consistantly changing temperature (cool, hot, very cold, very hot, back and forth) it makes your shifter bushing crack and break quicker. I learned this the hard way. Plus, the auto parts stores don't keep these in stock, and they're VERY hard to find locally (even in big cities). Buy this one, it's a no brainer!!!

Works perfectly ... but price is exploitation.
Ok, so suddenly your vehicle will not shift out of reverse. You panic. How much is this going to cost? Hundreds? Thousands? A new transmission? You do some research and find out that there is a possibility that the linkage cable has disconnected. Boy I hope that is the problem. Youtube video shows you how to check it. BINGO! Now to find the part. Dealer only sells whole cable when it is only a small (very small) grommet that is needed. Search reveals this is the only one that fits your vehicle. 30 bucks, whew! Part fits. Easy to replace. Five minutes and problem solved! Now, why did I only give 4 stars?? Because the part, which is a perfect fit replacement, couldn't cost the seller more then .20 cents to manufacture. The $30.00 charge is exploitation and, although I am a supporter of capitalism and the free enterprise system a mark up of 15000% is a bit excessive. The provided 'tool' serves no purpose whatsoever that I can see. The part, again, is PERFECT and who wouldn't pay $30 to fix their vehicle...but 15000%? Really?

This is the right part to fix your problem
Exactly what was needed to fix my Xterra. manufacturer. $25 seems a little bit high for the part but I tried to get it at the dealership, and they don't carry it.
